I'll Never Love Again

He stood there, right in front of her. She looked beautiful as ever and so peaceful. She was wearing her dark blue dress that stopped right above the knees. The dressed was perfectly fitted and showed off her curves. Her hair was straight, she had ombre highights. She was wearing little to almost no makeup. She hated wearing a face full of makeup because she thinks makeup hides true beauty and no one knows who you are if you are covered. He loved it when she didn't wear any because it shows off her natural face. He lightly touched her cheek. It was ice cold. He couldn't believe she's dead

He first met Spencer at a concert in a small town at a coffee place. There was a bunch of performances, but when she came out, for some reason he was drawn to her. She began to sing in english, then began to sing in French. She was amazing,beautiful, and oh so talented. She sang as she walked off stage and began to move everywhere. She moved to the bar where he was sitting. She laid across the table still singing. As soon as she turned her head and faced him, he saw those sparking brown eyes and fell in love.

When the concert was over, he waited outside until she came out. He had to find out who this beautiful woman. He wants to know her. He has to know her.
"Hey" he smiled as he saw her walk out
"Hi" she smiled
"I just wanted to say I think you're an amazing singer" he smiled
"Awww, well thank you" she smiled shyly
"You're also very beautiful" he flirts
"Quite the flirt, are you?" She teases
"I hope you don't take this the wrong way but are you hungry?" He ask
"I actually am, Ive been preforming since 11 this morning"
"Well may I take you to dinner? My treat" he smiled
"Sure" she smiled back.

As the waiter walked away with their order Toby decided to get to know her
"So, what's the beautiful singers name?"
"I'm Spencer and you?"
"Tobias, but people call me Toby"
"I love the name Tobias, it sounds like a Greek God"
"I think that's the first I'v ever heard someone say that" he chuckles
The food came a moment later and the two began to talk. They both learned a lot about each other.
"So tell me what does Mr. Cavanaugh do in his spare time?"
"Well I like to construct things from my own hands. Build a couple of houses and between you and me, I do like to sing"
"That sounds so interesting. You build things, you speak French, sing and cook" she smirks. "Sounds like my type of guy" she flirts. Spencer was also starting to fall in love with him as well

After Dinner was over, the two went to another bar for a couple of drinks but they left early due to an incident because Spencer punched a guy in the nose for groping her and Toby immediately picked her up and rushed out and headed to the grocery store to find something cold to wrap her now bruised knuckles
"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly
"I'm fine. I didn't need an ice pack" she said. He continued to wrap the frozen pea bag and some bandage around her small hand. After that they walked out to the Parking lot where they just sat and talked
"What time is it?" She asked
"It's 6 am" he said in shock
"Wow already 6 in the morning? I have to go and catch up sleep" she said getting up. "Thanks for the dinner and for wrapping my hand, I have to catch a cab now" she said
"How about I drive you home" he offers
"Really?"
"Sure"
She smiled as she followed him to his car and they drove off. The car ride was quiet. It was a comfortable quiet. Every now and then Toby would steal glances from Spencer. Admiring her beauty. He definitely wasn't going to let this girl go

"Thanks for the ride" she says as he pulls up to the curve
"Anytime. I hope to see you around"
She smiled as she gets out "me too" she says
She starts walking towards the door when Toby stops her
"Hey" he says rolling down his window
"What? She asked as she turned to him
"I just wanna take another look at you" he smirks
Spencer smiled and goes inside and Toby drives off

7 months of dating
The 7 months of dating was wonderful. Everything was almost perfect. Except one thing. Her drug addiction. Since Spencer is a singer she uses pills to stay awake and it sometimes trigger her a lot
"I THOUGHT YOU QUIT SPENCER? WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?" He shouts
"I NEED THEM TO STAY AWAKE, I NEED THEM"
"NO YOU DONT" he yelled as he snatched the pills from her hands and went to the kitchen sink
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? TOBY STOP I NEED THEM" She screams
Toby ignored her and dumped all the pills down the sink and turned on the garbage dispenser
"NOOO TOBY" she cried. She began to hit him on his chest telling him he's mean
He took this to hug her tight and let her cry
"Spence I need you here with me so much, if anything happens to you, I don't know what I'll do. You have to go to rehab Spencer. Please" he begged
She nodded her head and nuzzled her head in his neck
"I love you" she said
"I love you too"

5 months in rehab
"How are you?" He asked
"I've been better. I took a swim. I'm more relaxed now" she smiled. She did look much better. No more bags under her eyes. Her face looks fresh. She looks brand new.
"Do you think you're ready to go home?"
"Yes I am, no more pills. I promise." She says.
He takes her hand and kisses them
"I believe you. Let's go home." He smiles.

One year later.
Spencer and Toby along with their friends went out to the new restaurant that just opened and Toby has a real special surprise.
"So what are you guys gonna eat?" Hanna asked
"I want the Chicken Alfredo" Spencer said
"Ooh that sounds good, I think I'll have that too" Aria smiled
"So Toby how's the houses coming?" Caleb asked
"It's great. I'm building this one house. It's just about done" he said
"You never mentioned building another house" Spencer said in shock
"It's a very special house for this couple" he said

After dinner deserts were up. Each couple shared a chocolate cake and of course what's cake with out a surprise
"What's this?" Spencer said as she dug through the cake with her fork. She kept digging until she saw a wire like circle shaped. "Is this what I think it is?" She cried. She turned to Toby and saw that he was on one knee
"Spencer Jill Hastings, I knew from the moment I looked at you in that small cafe while you were singing that you would be the only one for me. You are absolutely beautiful and phenomenal and amazing and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" He ask
"Yes, oh my gosh yes" she cried

Before the wedding.
"Come here" she smiled. She took Toby by the hand and led him to the piano
"What's up?" He asked
"I wrote you a song. Well it's not complete. I only have the chorus"
She sits down and begins to play
"Don't wanna feel another touch, Dont wanna start another fire. Don't wanna another kiss, no other name falling off my lips. Don't wanna give my heart away, to another stranger or let another day begin, won't even let the sunlight in. No, I'll never love again, I'll never love again, oh,oh,oh" she finishes.
He tears up and lifts her up from her seat kissing her all over her face.
"I love you so much" he said
"I love you too"

At the wedding.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride" the pastor announces. Toby gladly pulls Spencer close and kisses her deep and passionate.
This was the beginning of something new.
Or so he thought
Spencer was in her house when she heard a knock on her door. She went to get it and saw a woman with brown hair and skin. She was the same height as Spencer
"Can I help you?" Spencer asked
"You're the one who stole my man?"
"Oooh you're Yvonne, aren't you?" Spencer asked
"Yes I am" she spat
"If you didn't remember, Toby broke up with you because YOU cheated on him. I didn't do anything. I wasn't even around or even knew him when he broke up with you" Spencer yells
"Just because you're a famous singer, that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want"
"You need to go, now"
"Go back to popping your pills, you're worthless here. He deserves someone who isn't a drug addict" Yvonne says
"And Toby deserves someone who keeps opening her legs to every guy she meets" Spencer spat back
(It should be noted that there are cameras inside)
Yvonne stomped away and Spencer slammed the door.
She was right. He doesn't deserve a drug addict. He has so much positive things in his life. He's just too nice to say anything to hurt her feelings.
She went to the garage and got the belt. The garage door was opened. She was miserable. Triggered I should say.
She wrapped the belt around her neck and hook the buckle on top of the garage door, then she roughly closed the door

Toby didn't sleep for days. He couldn't eat, or leave the house. When he saw her body hanging he broke. Emotionally and physically. He thought she stopped taking the pills. But it wasn't that. He looked through the videos from the cameras and saw that his ex girlfriend said some very nasty things. It was her fault. She said something that triggered Spencer.
"Toby?, Toby?" Caleb called out. He saw his best friend on the couch with a beer in his hand.
"Is it taken care of?" He asked
"Yeah the girls really gave Yvonne a taste of her own medicine. She won't be walking or moving anytime soon
Toby let out a cry. His beautiful wife is gone. Forever. That house that Caleb mentioned. It was the house for them to raise a family and now it's meanless so he sold it to another couple who would want to start a family
"You'll see her soon" Caleb holds him in his arm
"I miss her so much" he sobs

Toby walked up to the altar
"Thank you for coming, I know many people were close to her and it pains me that she's not here anymore." He says. He looks around and sees that her parents and sister who always treated her bad were in the front crying and screaming "I'm sorry". The girls held each other as they cry for their most loyal friend is gone.
"Spencer was an amazing daughter, wife and friend. She was someone who you can count on to make you laugh and smile. She brighten everyone's day with her voice. She was nominated and won 3 Grammys. Spencer was the best person ever. No one, not even my ex girlfriend can compete with her. Spencer is a one of a kind." He smiled to himself. "Before she died, the night before our wedding she made me a song. It was only the chorus but i completed the song with how everything i feel now.

He turns around to her open casket and leave one one last kiss.
"I'll never love again, and that's a promise" he says and he never loved again. He didn't date anyone or anything. He couldn't love anymore.

OMG I CRIED WRITING THIS. I WAS INSPIRED FROM "A STAR IS BORN" SUCH A FANTASTIC MOVIE. LADY GAGA WAS AMAZING. I LOVE LOVED IT.
