It's been about 6 weeks since the tragic happened. He ran away to get some air, to get some space. His wife just died in his arms. They were married for about an hour to say. She got weaker and weaker and just gave out. They were supposed to start their life, now it will never happen. Yvonne Phillips-Cavanaugh July 8, 2021 was the day she died. He was heartbroken, he already lost his mother, he's not even close with...her. Her... that girl that was supposed to be the love of his life, but because she wasnt ready to have kids yet, they broke up. Between you and me Spencer acted like she cared about him and Yvonne. Not about the death. she felt bad, but about them being together. She hated it. "Spencer" he said in his mind. As he was away he thought about her. He thought about what would happen if he had lost her to. What if she did die when she was shot. Boy he would be devastated. After all Spencer was his very first love, his first best friend, his first love. He wonders how she's doing now. She's probably happy with that detective guy, Marco Furey. He seems to have deep feelings for her. He took care of her when she was shot, he did so many amazing things for her. When Toby came back for a short short visit he ran into him. They talked, Marco gave his condolences. Toby asked about Spencer and then he found out the most shocking secret ever. "Spencer is adopted?" he said "yeah, w-what she didnt tell you?" Marco asked. Toby sadly shook his head. He felt betrayed for some reason. How come she told a guy she only knew for a few months before telling the guy she knew for almost 8 years. Toby walked away from him, hurt and angry and felt so bad for Spencer. Poor girl is going through the worst. Being in Radley, going to Rehab, getting shot, being told she was adopted. Then it came to him, he never went up to her, never did he ask her if she was alright. She always cared for him so why couldn't he do the same? Was it because of Caleb?? Yvonne??? Marco??? He didnt know.

She felt bad for Toby. He keeps losing so many people in his life. He doesn't have a family anymore, well he does but he doesn't care for his dad and he hates Jenna with all his heart. But Spencer quickly shook Toby out her head. She needs to focus on herself. She still hasnt found Mary yet. Shes nowhere to be found, and Spencer is desperate to look for answers. The board game helped a little by giving her the letter from Mart which opened up many answers. Did Spencer feel bad about starting the game. Yeah she did, but the girls except Hanna totally understood why she did it. Hanna on the other hand was mad. Hanna has no right to be mad. As much as she screws up, she shouldnt talk or be mad. Aria, Alison and Emily totally comforted Spencer. Marco has helped too. By doing a private investigation on Mary. All for Spencer. Marco is such kind man, but too bad he left. Something horrible had happened to someone in his family and had no choice but to leave. Of course he took her out for one last night before leaving. He took her to her favorite restaurant of all time. He bought her flowers and a necklace to remember him bye. When he left Spencer went back to the barn and was in deep thought. After Marco left she vowed she wont be in a relationship until she can find herself, with everything thats been going on she just needs a friend. No boyfriend.
As she put on some shorts and a crop top for bed there was a knock on the door. "who could that be at a time like this?" she mumbled. She opened the door but no one was there. She looked down and saw a note, so she picked it up and read

No initials was there but she had a feeling who it was, so she put on sneakers and grabbed her car keys and drove off. When she got there she was the truck, the truck she bought him to help him get to Bucks County, the truck where he told her he loves her for the first time ever. She got out the car and started walking, When she got there she saw him sitting on the rock. Their rock. This was always the place to talk and vent out.
"Toby?" she called out. He turned around and her eyes widen. He looked homeless, he hair was all shaggy, he grew a beard and it wasnt even groomed properly.
When he saw her he slightly smiled and pat the seat indicating to sit next to him. She came and sat down on the edge. Her back was to his side.
"Hey" he said
"hi". It was quiet for a minute
"how's everything?" she asked. He shrugged his shoulders
"her funeral was 3 weeks ago, after that I needed time to think, about everything" he said.
She rolled her eyes, thankfully it was dark so he didnt see it
"how about you?"
"eh, same thing since I got here nothing but drama" she sighed
Toby thought this would be the perfect time to talk
"I missed you" he confesses. Spencer turns to him and furrows her eyebrows
"Toby dont"
"why not I used the 6 weeks I was gone to actually think, think about everything" he scoot closer to Spencer "think about you, after Yvonne died, I realized I lost so many people and I cant lose you, so as I was thinking I want to give us another chance" he said. He caresses her face with his thumb softly. Then he pulls her into a kiss but Spencer pulls away and wipes her lips
"no Toby" she immediately stood up
"what do you mean no?" he asked still sitting down
"everything has changed Toby everything"
Toby looked at her confused
"that kiss that happened before the crash, it was a mistake and it shouldnt have happened" she said
"come on you dont mean that" He said
" I do, and as I was doing it, it made me think, why was I doing this, its not like you was going to come back to me" a tear falls from her face "you were already engaged and was married. Now here you are wanting me back, well guess what I'm not someones second choice, and if we did get back together thats all im gonna feel" " wow the poor girl is second choice because his wife died". Toby just sat there looking at her. "You really think I wanna be with you after she died? Do you really think I wanna go with you to her grave "Yvonne Cavanaugh" and put flowers and listen to how much you love her, do you really think I want that, No I dont. All my life Ive been second choice and Im sure as hell wont let you make me one again." she spat
"Youre not second choice, this made me realize youre the one I want" he said getting up
"look Toby, I love you I do, but Im not in love with you like I was before, I need time to myself, I really dont want a bf or be your gf ever again, Im sorry but thats how I feel, everything feels weird now, theres no spark anymore Toby" she sobs.
"Spencer pl-
"i cant do this,maybe some time in the future if the timing is right we can try again but not now, i gotta go" she said. She quickly got up and headed over to her car
" wait" he yelled.  Spencet stopped and turned around
"why didn't you tell me you're adopted?"

"like i said timing wasnt right, goodbye Toby" she got into her car and left, leaving Toby all alone

Im sorry but I felt like this needs to happen. Marlene really ruin Spoby for me. Im mad she killed off Yvonne just so Spoby can be back. Why cant she just leave like the others. Now my hope for Spoby has droppes like 55%. They will never be the same
