DDUNG DEUNG DONG DDONG DEUNG DONG DDONG DEUNG
The school bell rang and the hall was getting crowded as students ran from their boring classes. It was time for snack and they all raced to the canteen, buying crepes, fries, lasagnas, and ice creams. Students chattered, talking to each other, waving their e-money cards to the counter clerks, and fighting over their tables. SinB was quite surprised with the the whole situation. My previous school was much better than this... she thought to herself. She was making her way to the canteen when someone tapped her from behind.
"Hwang SinB! I told you to walk slower~"
"Oh! HAHAHA well I told you I can't~"
Yes, it was Umji. That one friend who always complains about her speed.
"Dude, how can you walk all the way here by yourself?" Umji asked as they continued walking down the corridor.
"Well, why can't I?"
"I mean like, this is high school."
"So?"
"So? SO? Did you just asked 'so?' to me??"
"Wow there girl, chill. I don't know what's wrong with walking to the canteen all by yourself?" asked SinB shocked while she calmed her hot-tempered friend.
"Dude. High school is huge! People are easy to criticise and judge you! Being alone invites unwanted attentions! Bro!" Umji said with her high toned voice and red face, she looked like she was about to explode. SinB when quiet for awhile until she finally spoke out,
"I saw them in movies tho."
"Yes! YES! Just like in the movies! Do you get it now?" Umji said with wide eyes and smile.
"Okay, I get the point. Now, let's go! I'm hungry~" SinB pulled her friend's hand and dragged her to the crowded canteen.
As Umji talked about her fav singer, SinB played with the straw on her strawberry juice. She stirred her drink while keeping her eyes on her never ending chattery friend. Just as she glanced to change her view, she spotted him. Her eyes fixed on him just then and her friend then noticed her not paying attention and looked for what she saw. When Umji found what SinB's looking at, she grinned.
"Dude. You still like him?"
"Huh. He doesn't even like me anymore." SinB said without looking at Umji and resting her face on her palm, fixed her eyes on him. Just him.
