Everything turned really awkward and ice cold at school. At least that's what SinB thought.

It wasn't very pleasant though, nobody would like to be in her position back then... and even now.

School went on as usual. People being fake, teachers being so called "trusted", and the school just being... the school. There was nothing much changed, just the numbers of student that came in and out of the counselors room. It blasted through the roof and didn't change since.

SinB came to school on a fine Friday. She was glad it was Friday, well who doesn't? She enjoyed that day just like everyone else, where she didn't have to deal with anyone she knew for two days after. She came into the classroom, brought her notebook with her. She opened the door and found just a few of her classmates inside. Eunha and Umji were also there.

"Morning, SinB!" Umji greeted her. But the person didn't feel like to greet anyone, especially what happened to her. "Are you okay, SinB?" Eunha asked in confusion after they received a cold stare from SinB. They quickly gave up because they knew SinB's definitely not in a good mood.

After she got into her seat, she started making doodles and writings on the fourth page. She was resting her back, leaned on the chair, when someone came in.

Her face almost lit up, but she quickly put her face away and went back to her scribbles. It was Jungkook.

Even though she had told herself not to expect anything from him again, she still hope that he'd walked to her. But no, he just passed by her.

He didn't even looked at her. She could see the bitterness in his face, how stern he was just by his look. He walked sharply towards her friends. It wasn't a surprise for her that he went to Eunha and Umji, who actually had been with each other ever since her friendship with Jungkook was ruined. Maybe, it was a coincidence that they did that. Maybe.

"Hey, guys." Jungkook approached them while taking a seat beside Eunha.

"Hey, Jungkook. What's up?" they greeted him.

They kept talking until the bell rang. Ms. Oubrey came in with a phone tray on her right hand and her own phone on her left hand. She stood in front of the classroom.

"Alright, students. Listen up!" she announced. But the struggle of any teachers, nobody listened.

"Students! Listen!" she called up once again. Still.

"Hey!!" she screamed. Now this caught everyone's attention. Of course, the teacher was pleased.

"Okay. So, for today's announcement..." she looked at her phone and tapped the screen rapidly.

"Alright. As you may notice, there are some students who made it through the detention list. Last Tuesday, we've found some students who didn't joined the late school activity." she emphasized on the last words. All students looked at each other, some with wide eyes and some with confusion and wonder. Everyone gave a very obvious look on their faces, but not SinB who was still on her notebook. She listened to every word, but since she wasn't the one who did it, she chose to not be bothered by it.

"I was expecting that none of you would get it. But turns out, nope. Some teachers caught Dayoung, and then Rocky, walking around school while the activity went on. Is this true? Dayoung and Rocky? Did you guys do it?" Ms. Oubrey gave them a glare. The two students being mentioned didn't dare to look at the woman in front of them. The others also turned to look at them, expecting an answer. This time, it also caught SinB's attention. The whole class was waiting for them to speak up.

"Yes. We didn't joined the late school activity." Rocky said after he changed looks with Dayoung. The teacher sighed and looked down for awhile.

"Just how much it burdens me to know about this, I have to give you both detention cards. You won't be able to come to school for a couple of days, starting from next week. And while you're at home, you'll have a task to do and it has to be finished by Wednesday. Clear?" both students nodded. "Alright now. Everybody go to class. Good day."

Everyone put their phones on the tray and left the classroom. They were all in groups, except for SinB. She quickly got up from her seat, collected her phone, and stormed out of the room without making any eye contact with her friends.

Friday's schedule wasn't bad. All the subjects on that day has completely chill teachers, so the students really get to enjoy their day. The next subject before lunch was Religion. SinB and her classmates were seated as the teacher came in with a laptop in her hand.

"Good afternoon, kids. Let's just get right into the presentation that I'd be presenting. So today's topic would be sincerity." the teacher talked quite fast, but the last word was well caught by SinB's ears. Her body somehow turned tense. She glanced to look at the boy who was only one person away from her left. She knew what they were gonna talk about.

"Does anyone of you is having a problem with someone?" the teacher asked as she darted her eyes on each of the students in front of her. One thing to note, SinB's class are filled with honest and straight-forward kids, so they always freely share what comes through their mind.

"Oh, me! I fought with my little brother last night. He won't share his food with me." Yeri raised her hand. Everyone laughed on her confession.

"Well, do you forgive your brother now? How do you settle with that situation?" the teacher asked again.

"I haven't forgive him. I was so mad I ate his breakfast today." the girl said, innocently.

Everyone released their laughter, everyone except for SinB, who kept glancing at Jungkook. The boy seemed to be in the moment of silence too. She was staring at him when he looked at her direction. She quickly turned away, not to get caught. But she can see from the corner of her eyes, he smiled a little. His expression made her wondered, "What has got into him?"
