❤Sarah's POV❤

I was extremely nervous. We were standing on the porch of an extravagant house, one much fancier than my own and James was claiming this was his dad's and step-mother's abode.

I literally felt my breath hitch as he rang the bell, my grip on the basket of sweets I'd brung from home tightening almost painfully.

"Hey, it'll all be fine. And if they do something, I'll make sure that's the last thing they ever do to you. We don't have to ever come back if you want." I looked up at James, he looked handsome today, but the collar of his shirt was a little more open than when we were at my house.

It was like he'd intentionally did it to show his tattoos off, and whether it made him look sexier or not, I thought  it was horrible how he was doing it to spite his father. Either way though I still smiled back up at him, nodding my head as we waited for the door to open.

When it finally did, there was a tall woman standing there. She looked like a supermodel with her slim figure and long limbs, but nice enough too. In other words, she was nothing I was expecting.

The woman had soft, warm brown eyes, and naturally blond hair. The smile she was giving us as she invited us inside was brilliant too, and I couldn't help but think that this couldn't have been the witch that ruined James' family, could it? James didn't even smile at her in return, and she noticed her smile loosing a little of it's brilliance but I gave her a small one which she brightened a little bit back up at.

James took a hold of my hand as we entered, and my breath was taken away with just one step into the foyer. Right when I entered my gaze naturally flew to the blinding light the ginormous glass chandelier provided. Next I was attracted to the staircase that veered off to the right, and of course I was entranced by the marble white floor.
