⚽James' POV⚽

I needed some time think. After Sarah had asked me to leave I'd made sure I left as fast as possible, not even taking the time to say goodbye to anyone else.

Nothing could describe how I felt right now, my heart was in my throat and it felt like it was  breaking into two.

It's OK, just because she didn't say anything back doesn't mean she doesn't feel the same. You overreacted, you're being pathetic.

I sighed as I hopped into my car, driving off while nothing but seeing her walking away kept repeating in my mind. By the time I got to my house I was practically going insane, but I somehow kept it all together as I went up to my apartment.

Walking into the house didn't help at all, every where I looked I was reminded of her. I had wanted Sarah to treat my home as her own, and it was apparent. All around the place there were little trinkets of hers, in the living room, kitchen, bathroom, hell especially in our bedroom.

Our bedroom...

I stopped for a second, I don't know when it began, but I was starting to think that everything I owned was hers too. Shaking my head I started walking towards the bedroom, slowly taking off my clothes as went. By the time I was in the room I was already down to my boxers so I quickly changed into some pajama bottoms before deciding to lay down.

Despite being in the bed, with hopes of soon going to sleep it seems my body or more likely my mind hated me as I kept thinking over everything. My thoughts were so chaotic and messy that instead I was just restlessly rolling around trying to get comfortable, knowing that I possibly couldn't. I always slept better when she was beside me, in our bed, pressed against my chest. But I'm sure that's not going to be the case for a while.
