Luckily enough the next couple of days without James were simple enough. Kyle didn't bother to give me much trouble after the first day, seemingly content with jokingly asking me to leave James for him while calling me beautiful on multiple occasions. Once again, if I didn't know him so well I would have thought he was being serious, but I did so I payed no attention to him, instead immersing myself in my studies and working at the bakery after school. The year really was flying by, and I knew that soon enough the next school year would be starting.
It was going to be so weird starting school next year, I mean it was even weirder with all the changes that this year had brought along. I was no longer being bullied at school, Brittany had left, and now I was surrounded by a group of loving people that I called my friends. It was kind of strange, considering I used to be a loner, but I was so thankful for all of them. I sighed as I continued to ice the cake in front of me, turning it on the table as I iced all around the edges. When I was done I quickly placed the cake to cool in the fridge before I grabbed another cake.
I began to roll out the fondant I was going to use to decorate the cake when I began to think over my relationship with James. I couldn't believe that I was lucky enough to actually have found someone as great as him. I was glad that from the last of what I heard James had managed to send Lauren off without a hitch and soon enough he would be here as he'd started making the drive back around lunch-time. Smiling I thought back to what had happened this weekend when we were together. I had to admit I was a little disappointed we didn't get to spend that much time together, but soon enough I knew that we would be able to see one another again. I thought that maybe when I next saw him I would ask if he could start planning Franny's gender reveal party with me as I obviously needed help. I thought I already had a general idea on how we were going to reveal the gender, but I needed an extra set of taste buds to get everything ready for what I had planned, so I might as well ask James and Ty who both seemed to possess endless blackholes in place of their stomachs. Smiling I smoothly began to roll the fondant on the cake before I stopped in shock when I felt someone's arms wrap around my waist.
"Hey Angel. I missed you so much." I instantly relaxed into the arms of my boyfriend, surprised that he'd shown up out of nowhere but incredibly happy he was back before I had thought he was. Although, I was also a little concerned as well. Turning around in his arms I wrapped my arms around his waist, snuggling deeper into his muscular chest as he wrapped his arms around me tighter, bringing me further into his embrace. I took a moment to breath in his wonderfully calming and familiar scent before glancing up at him with a smile.
