tw: sadistic actions and some gore.

i rolled my desk chair back over to my desk and stared at my computer screen while ann did her thing.

she directed my mouse to a program that would leave me in undercover while i explored the deep web.

with a simple two clicks, i opened up an entire list of links and context that told me what i was really in for.

the list was in alphabetical order and didn't tell me much, only the names of what the websites were. i stared, wide-eyed and confused. and that's when a message from ann popped up.

"joshua, i have
to go offline for a few
minutes. feel free to
explore at your own desires."

and that's when the message deleted itself, and i was now left on my own to see what the deep web has to offer.

i scrolled through the list of websites, but was too scared to actually click on one. until curiosity got the best of me, and i found i clicked on multiple links and regretted every single one of them.

there was a site for cannibals and it even had a cute little title,
"you're welcome for a meaty surprise! made by humans, for humans, of humans!"

a site for drug purchasing through the only currency found in the deep-web known as "bitcoins". it's a discreet way of purchasing items in the deep web.

and the real kicker were there were a bunch of sites that allowed you to purchase weapons and torture devices for your "own use".

the deep web is sick.

after being on multiple sites and still browsing in curiosity, i got a notification on my screen which i thought would be from ann. but it wasn't her.

the message read,

"hello friend!
i see you scrolled past our site!
we're just about to have another session!
would you care to join us?"

puzzled, i replied back by typing "who are you?" on my keyboard, though my message didn't appear on the screen. they still replied,

"i am a ring leader in our fabulous game!
but you can call me raz!
i run the monkey house!"

"what's the monkey house?" my fingers typed the letters in response.

"it's a super-duper fun and interactive game we play weekly for our fabulous guests!
i know you aren't a member,
but i can let you in for free friend!
my treat!"

this seemed too weird, i thought to myself. i wasn't sure what "raz" was trying to get at but whatever it was, it was free.

and what's wrong with something that's free.

and so, i complied, allowing raz to bring up the monkey house sight. the cover page looked like a circus with a bunch of creepy-faced monkeys plastered all over the place.

it also had a big red "JOIN THE FUN TODAY!" button in the center of the screen. which, raz told me to click when i was "ready to play."

hesitant, yet intrigued, i clicked the button, to be a broadcast to a screen with a stage on it and a chat to the lower left of my screen. people in the chat seemed to be excited for whatever was about to unfold.

after what seemed like minutes of waiting, the stage lit up, and a man with a dismembered monkey head appeared from behind the curtains. everyone in the chat was going insane with excitement.

the monkey didn't speak, instead he bowed and went off screen to get something. when he came back, he was rolling in something that had a tarp over it, the chat still continuing to roar with cheers

the monkey man revealed what was under the tarp, a man bounded to a metal table, he was fully naked and ball-gagged. he looked to be in his mid to late 30s.

the monkey continued to bow, before leaving the screen once again and coming back rolling another table that had a tarp over it. it was revealed to be a table full of sharp and surgical tools.

and i don't think this monkey was a surgeon.

he proceeded by scalping the man, pulling just the right amount of scalp off his skull to reveal flesh, but not enough to kill him.

then, he chopped off all of his toes with these comically large scissors, then followed by cutting off his man-hood.

he split open the surprisingly alive mans stomach and taking his guts out, proceeding to draping them over his neck.

the man was dead, blood was everywhere and the comments were heavily filled with excitement. as if this situation wasn't bad enough, the comments began to worry me.

"why is joshua so quiet?"

"is this joshuas first time?"

"joshua isn't a member, how is he here?"

"joshua should be our next guest."

"joshuas blue hair would make a nice scarf."

i began to panic, my heart beat increasing as i frozen in my seat, not wanting to move as the chat continued to talk about me.

i was quickly trying to exit the page and shut down my computer until i heard the front door open, and my heart dropping to hear pete yell from down the stairs,

"honey, i'm home!"
