"daddy's home!"

almost immediately he said that, sarah squealed and ran over, jumping into a hug with the guy. we all walk over as they're still hugging and after they were done, dallon went in for a hug.

"we missed you bud." i heard dallon mumble into the mans shoulder, "i know you did." he cockily stated, but in a way it still had a genuine feeling to it. after their hug, he went on to hug everyone else, but stopped when he got to me.

"who's he?" he asked the others, tyler decided to speak up, "that's josh, he's new here."

the guy looked at me and smirked, "well then, josh, i should probably introduce myself," he started off, "i'm brendon and i used to be a hitman but that shit got old and i was doing some satanic cult stuff but there's some shit going on with that... so now i'm just here to help!" his chipper tone at the end was exaggerated.

"wait what happened with--?"

"it's a long story," brendon interrupted sarahs obvious question, "and it's really complicated, so i can't explain much." he then added.

there was a small break, causing silence between all of us until jenna spoke up again and began walking while doing so, "well, we're glad you're here, bren, you already know we're in some trouble with raz."

we all began to walk with jenna and as we do so, brendon responds, "what can i help with?" he wondered, jenna stopped in front of a cubicle which i assumed was hers, and we all stopped as well.

"well," jenna sighed, and began to ponder, "do you happen to know where raz is?" she jumped the gun with that question, but brendon shook his head, chucking softly.

"if i knew where he was, he'd be 6 feet under by now." brendon half joked, but hearing that made my legs feel like jelly and my stomach felt heavy. i'm not sure what it was, maybe it was the fact that he was in satanic ritual stuff that made me uneasy about him, but he did kind of creep me out.

nevertheless, the others had agreed him, as it was clear none of them were too fond of raz, not to say that i liked the guy, either.

"someone's gotta know where he is," jenna concluded, "there's no way this guy can keep himself a secret from everyone." this made everything think as to who would know where he was.

that's when sarah spoke up, "hey, d'ya think gerard or frank would know?" she asked all of us, though i just shrugged as i didn't know who she as talking about, but it clearly had rung a bell for everyone else.

that's when jennas eyes lit up, "oh yeah!" she remembered, "they did work for him a while ago." she then added, turning around in order to do something on her computer.

"y'think he would tell us?" brendon sounded unsure of the idea, but jenna immediately contradicted him with, "we helped them, they should be able to help us."

"or we can bargain with them," tyler suggested, "gee's a slut for bitcoins." he explained, and jenna seemed in on that idea too.

from what i could see it looked like jenna was skyping someone named gerard, and everyone was waiting impatiently for him to answer. and when he did, we were met with a guy who had fiery red hair and was sitting in front of a black background.

"what d'ya guys want?" gerard sighed, causing everyone to try and huddle in front of the computer screen, though the space was so compact in the cubicle.

"we need a favor--" jenna spoke up, but gerard immediately interrupted her with a remark,
"i don't do charity work, hun." he sounded so sarcastic, but it was clear jenna was already getting annoyed.

"look," she sounded got more serious in her tone, "we helped you get frank and mikey back from one of the torture camps last year, we saved your asses, and now you need help save ours."

her determined yet slightly demanding speech left gerard silent as he just stared down at his hands before sighing and looking up to the camera again,
"fine," he sounded slightly aggravated, "what d'ya need?"

"do you know where raz is?" jenna blankly asked, but gerard looked at her in confusion as he cocked an eyebrow, "i didn't know you were so suicidal, jen." he remarked.

"i'm not," she shook her head, "he took a friend of ours, and we need to get her back." it took be back a bit that jenna knew about ashley, but i didn't question it right then and there.

gerard took a pause before answering with, "he moves a lot, like every week or some shit--"

"so where is he now?" jenna wasn't having his vague excuse, but gerard still didn't seem to get the hint, "listen, if he has your friend, you might as well consider her long gone--"

"it's ashley. he took ashley again." tyler spoke up from behind jenna, but he was still in frame of the camera. this made gerard mumble some curse words under his breath, but silence still took over him as he sat there looking distraught.

"gee," jenna broke the silence between everyone, "we need that address." she was done sounding stern, now she was more genuine with her tone.

after a long period of nothing from him, he finally responded with, "you take route 93 all the way down that long-ass highway, then turn on route 78 and go down straight from there, don't take any turns. it's a dirt road but there a huge warehouse, you can't miss it."

i looked over at sarah who was writing his directions down, but my attention then turned to jenna who spoke to gerard again, "thanks gee, we'll end him once and for all."

"good luck guys," he sighed again, "and try not to die." was the last thing he said before disconnecting the call.
