i couldn't tell how much time has past since i ended up falling asleep. but i began regaining consciousness when i heard ashleys voice warning me.

"josh?! josh?! josh wake the hell up!" i gained self awareness back and yawned before answering,
"what happened?"

"tylers five minutes away from your house, so stay in the car and don't do anything stupid." she instructed.

i finally noticed that it was nightfall outside, a lot of time was bound to pass if i fell asleep before the sun even began to set.

"okay..." i yawned again, there was no doubt that i was scared, but there was nothing i could do now. all i can do was sit back and hope he doesn't notice me.

"how long was i asleep for?" i wondered, rubbing my eyes due to my vision still being blurry.
"maybe five hours or so." she answered.

i picked up my phone from the cars dashboard, it didn't have the battery in its usual right hand corner,
"can my phone die?" i looked at it in confusion.

"i made a lot of changes to it," ashley addmitted, "you can access the deep-web through your phone but i don't suggest it, obviously. i made it so it doesn't need to be charged, but now you can only make emergency calls. so basically you can only call me and 911."

"oh okay. s--"
"josh shut up now." ashley interrupted me, and immediately i noticed a rather shiny black car pull up in front of my house, the license plates were painted over with black paint.

"is that him?" i whispered and stared out the window to watch whoever was going to get out of the car.

"yup, that's our guy." ashley confirmed with a sigh, for some reason there was a slight bit of shakiness to her breathing.

my heart was racing, and it got absurdly cold in the car. i was breathing heavy, with clear shakiness peering through every exhale.

there was nothing distinct about the car besides it's heavily tinted windows, but other than that and the lack of visible licenses plates, it looked normal.

the tension was high, the only thing i could hear was my breathing and the distant sound of crickets chirping throughout the night. nobody was exiting the car, making my anxiety skyrocket as i anticipated his arrival.

after what seemed like an eternity, someone exited the car. i assumed it was tyler joseph. he was wearing all black. a black trench coat that was unbuttoned, black jeans, and black dress shoes.

his back was turned to be when he exited, but he turned around and examined his surroundings, almost making eye contact was terrifying enough.

but his face was something interesting, if he wasn't a killer, i could probably stare at his face and not ever get bored. he was attractive, and not so intimidating when you take the whole "hitman" part out of the picture.

tyler walked away from his car and he went next to mine that was still in my driveway. he scanned the cars interior for a few minutes before taking out a small-looking gun that had a silencer on it.

he shot out all of my cars tires in a matter of seconds. my jaw dropped, he had done it so quick it was unbelievable how fast he was with a gun.

tyler had slid the gun back in his pocket with a smirk on his face, and causally made his way over to my front door.

i expected him to just bust through the door or lock pick it, but all the "notorious hitman" did was knock on my front door and awaited a response, but little did he know that he'd be waiting a while for no one to show up.

after minutes of him patiently waiting, tyler had taken something small out of his pocket, i assumed it was a lock pick, and started messing around with my lock.

he managed to get my door opened and walk into my house, while being a real gentlemen to shut the door behind him.

"i think he's in your house." ashley randomly spoke up.
"i know he's in my house," i informed her, until i got extremely confused, "wait why'd you think he was in my house?"

"all hitman have a tracking device on them, it's a mandatory thing," she explained, "that's how i knew where he was the whole time."

"oh wow," i was impressed, "so we would know exactly where he is whenever we wanted?" a smirk divulged on my face at the thought of having the upper hand.

"yeah we could i guess," ashley sounded a bit unsure, "that's only if things go to plan and he knows you're not playing a game on him. coz if he did, he'd be smart enough to turn off the tracking device."

i sighed, "yeah you're right." i agreed, nodding my head. i was still watching out the window, but it seemed to be taking longer than i expected for tyler to come out.

"what's taking him so long?" i asked ashley, not actually expecting a reasonable answer back,
"well, did you leave anything important in the house?" she questioned me.

i thought about it for a minute, "besides my computer, my old car keys and--" my blood ran cold when i did remember.

"and what?" ashley raised concern.
"i left the note raz gave me on my desk." i admitted, feeling completely stupid.

"are you kidding me, josh?!" ashley sounded more annoyed than i thought she would be.
"i know, i know but--"

i shut myself up when i saw tyler leave my house, closing the door behind him as he looked around the surrounding area again. one of his hands was in his pocket as he walked back to his own car.

he got into his car and shortly after, he drove away from my house, ashley and i sighed a huge sigh of relief simultaneously.

"do you think he found the note?" i wondered, asking ashley would worry in my tone. she took a pause before giving me her answer.

"i really don't know," she admitted, "let's just hope not."
