Sorry, not sorry.
I groaned, head pounding in a skull shattering headache. My stomach rolled over itself, and I shot up, vomiting everything into the toilet, a couple feet away. Flushing, I struggled to think, and couldn't gain the strength to rinse my mouth.
"NICO!" Will shouted, swinging the bathroom door open with a bang.
"Will, my head hurts." I mumbled pressing my fingers to my temples, wincing as I rubbed a slightly more sore spot on my right side, and squeezed my eyes shut.
"It's what you deserve." Will spat, clearly pissed.
"What? Why? What'd I do?"
"You left Bennie home, alone to go to a bar!!"
"What are you talking about?" I said in confusion, vision still swimming. "I hate alcohol! You know that!"
"Well, clearly you've had a change in drink choice!" Will growled.
"No! I didn't! You know I hate alcohol because of my father!" I managed, and was going to say more, when I was rudely interrupted by the bile that had crawled back up my throat. Great image. Thanks me. I took a shaky breath, and heard Will step in the bathroom, standing behind me.
"Nico." His voice was quiet, no longer angry, but I couldn't open my eyes to see his face, the bright of the white tile painful. Trigger? "Nico, please tell me you didn't take that."
Take what? "What?" I mumbled, voicing my thoughts. I opened my eyes, to see partially digested pills. No. No, no, no. "I, I didn't! I couldn't have! I went to bed because I knew you were going to be late, after putting Bennie to bed-Bennie!" I shrieked, twisting, and my stomach revolted, but I had nothing left to give. "Where's Bennie?"
I was beginning to panic, and clawed at Will to help me up. His expressions was confused, but not as angry as before.
"I haven't looked."
I managed to get up, though I was shaking pretty hard. I half ran, grabbing the walls for support as I bumped into them, my wings feeling heavy. I shoved Bennie's door open, and took a few steps before collapsing.
The room was empty.
