Mia's POV: The next day Beth didn't get out of bed, she stayed there just lay down, her pillow was stained with her makeup from the night before, me and Sara didn't know what to do. We'd done all we could, we'd comforted her given her food but not surprisingly, nothing worked.
"I'm just gonna say straight that I'm worried about her" I told Sara quietly outside. "Yeah she doesn't seem too good does she" Sara said looking at the door, "Sara she's a little worse than not too good. She hasn't moved all day and it's nearly 5" I whisper yelled at her, "this is going to sound dreadful but, we need to let her come to terms with this herself. We can only be there for her so much. We have lives too and she's hurting now, it'll take a while but she'll pull through eventually. He's just a boy and at some point she'll realise that" Sara told me, "Sara. He was a little more than 'just a boy' they did stuff, no one forgets there first time especially when your first time is him" I said awkwardly, "like I said. She'll get over him, we just have to help her now and be her friends, there's nothing more we can do" Sara said bluntly. "I have a feeling you're right but I'm not sure because it's coming from your mouth" I said thinning my eyes, "I'll skip over that insult" Sara grumbled, "that's what I was hoping for" I smirked.
Levi's POV: "Drew" I spoke gently, "Drew you need to change" I told him, he sat in silence, "Drew those clothes smell. You need to get in that shower and change" Nate said firmly, "why should I?" Drew snapped, "because we have to live in this room too and all I can smell is your body odour" Nate spoke harshly to Drew. I didn't understand why, I mean give the guy a break he just broke up with his girlfriend. "I don't care" Drew shrugged, "well I do. Now get off your ass and get in that shower!" Nate said angrily, "I don't want to" Drew folded his arms on his bed, "Are you actually going to make the rest of us suffer because your too lazy to get in the shower. All because you and Beth broke up. Grow the fuck up and get in that shower!" Nate yelled, Drew turned angry, his face was stone, "How would you feel huh? How would you feel in my position" Drew said angrily to Nate. "Yes. I'd be heartbroken but we're your friends and we shouldn't have to suffer because of this. We're here to help you and smelling like that isn't helping anybody" Nate said sternly, Drew fell back onto his bed, "you're right I'm sorry. I'll take a shower and change" Drew said sitting up. "Then we're going to go out and get something to eat alright" Nate told him. "Alright" Drew said getting up and walking into the bathroom. "That was harsh" I told Nate. "I needed to be. He's stubborn but he'll come round" Nate nodded.
Mia's POV: "Beth you need to come down and get something to eat" Sara said sitting beside her on the bed, "I'm not hungry" she said still crying, "you need to eat. You'll only feel worse" I told her softly, "is that possible?" She blubbered "yes. You need to eat. Wipe your face get changed and come downstairs for some food. Please." I said softly, it took her a minute but she finally agreed. She went and washed her face tied her hair up. Put on some decent clothes and we headed down to the canteen.
"How is she?" Blake asked me as we watched her get her food. "what you'd expect. Not great but she'll pull through, eventually. We hope" I said with a worried tone. Beth walked over with her tray of food, she didn't look at us, just the tray. "Beth maybe this is for the best. You can focus on yourself now maybe this is a good thing, we don't like seeing you upset. Maybe you're better off alone" Blake tried to reassure her, he wasn't sure on what to say but none of us were, we weren't the most sympathetic bunch. Things slowly got worse when we saw, Levi, Nate, Austin and Drew walking towards the canteen, "hey, Beth, I don't wanna be the bearer of bad news but Drew is heading right this way" Sara spoke up, Beth didn't say a word she just kept eating. Austin smiled at me as he walked past the table, they took Drew to the food and after they all got themselves something they headed to the table beside us, Drew sat the furthest away. "Hey I hope you don't mind this" Austin said whispering into my ear from behind me. "No not at all, I know things are a little delicate now so, go, sit with him make sure he's alright. I'll see you soon" I smiled at him, Austin nodded and smiled, he kissed my cheek before going back to the table.
Things were silent and awkward, even though the boys were sat at a different table. No one said a word and you could feel the tension, it was horrible. there was just the sound of George tapping his foot on the floor, usually it would annoy me but today I was thankful for it. Drew then stood up and walked over to Beth. "Can we talk?" he whispered to her, she nodded and didn't say a word, she stood from the table and followed him outside. We all watched them, "my lip reading is a little rusty" Sara spoke, "what are they saying?" Nate asked, "shh I'm trying" Sara hushed him. "Guys this isn't our business, we should just leave them" I told the group, "but what if she kills him?" Levi asked, "don't be an idiot" I snapped at him, Levi bowed his head. "Mia's right we should leave them to it. This is none of our business" Austin backed me up, "Fine" Sara sighed and everyone drew their eyes away. "they're hugging" Nate spoke up, our heads all snapped round to look. "wow so much for minding our own business" Reece rolled his eyes. They then both walked back in and sat back in their seats. We all returned to silence. "so Sara how are you taking your recent duet news" Drew asked her, "Drew!" I said, knowing it was a sensitive topic that we'd been avoiding, "what?" he asked, "we don't talk about it because it's a sensitive subject" George told him, "oh right sorry my bad" Drew chuckled weakly. "It's just so insulting yno!" Sara spoke up and our table all grumbled in frustration.

We finally went back up to our rooms and Sara's curiosity got the better of her, "so what did Drew talk to you about?" Sara asked, I elbowed her in the arm, "oh, he just said let's not get this breakup in the way of everyone else's friendship and that he still respected me and wanted everyone to get along as we usually do. That's all" Beth shrugged, "oh right, well I'm glad you've spoke and things won't be yno, awkward" Sara nodded, Beth smiled weakly and walked into the bathroom.
"Something doesn't feel right" I said to Sara, "it feels fine. You're overthinking" Sara sighed, "well yeah, I'm paranoid, I don't trust what's going on. I'm telling you somethings up" I told Sara pointing my finger at her. "Whatever you think" Sara chuckled as she barely listened to me.
