Me and James where out again. We were out in town shopping, he was paying, we had just been in a load of shops and now we were going for something to eat, "where do you wanna go?" He asked me, "I don't mind it's up to you" I shrugged, "anywhere is good to me" he smiled, "McDonald's?" I questioned, "I swear that's the only place you girls ever go to" he chuckled, "you wanna go somewhere else" I shrugged, "no no it's fine" he nodded smiling, "okay" I smirked.
We then headed off to the closest McDonald's and sat down for food. "You haven't bought a lot of stuff. Usually when I've taken dates out in the past they ring me dry of all my cash" James smiled, "I'm not fussy, I don't need loads of stuff" I said shoving some fries in my mouth, "what do you need?" He chuckled, "attention" I smirked, "how much attention is that?" He asked, "all of it, think of me as Tinkerbell" I smiled, "you're better than Tinkerbell" he smiled at me lovingly, I blushed at his comment before going back to eating. "So where do you wanna go next?" He asked me as we finished our drinks, "you decide I'll follow" I nodded, "are you sure you'd like that?" He asked checking, "yeah" I nodded laughing, "good we'll go to the music shop" he smiled, "I like music so that's fine" I laughed.

After finishing our food we headed back into town to the music shop, we walked in and there were guitars on the walls and different records hung up, "so what are you wanting from here?" I asked him curiously as I looked around, "I'll just look and see if anything appeals to me" he chuckled. We wandered round the store, running our fingers over the keyboards, James kept explaining the different instruments and which ones he could play. I turned around to the large container of CD's. I flicked through the different ones looking for any that I didn't have but I wanted, when I found one someone else, who had been looking from the other side also appeared to have an interest in the CD, I looked up and met eyes with Drew, "oh hi" I said awkwardly, "you can have that" he said letting go of the CD, "thanks" I said awkwardly, "so... what brings you here?" he questioned, "Beth I think I found someth-" James was cut off as he recognised the situation, "oh" Drew sighed, realising himself that this was in fact a date. "enjoy your CD" he smiled weakly before turning and walking away, "I'm gonna check if he's ok" I told James, "yeah, if you weren't I was gonna" he chuckled awkwardly, I walked after Drew and tapped him on the shoulder, "are you alright?" I asked him sympathetically, "y-yeah, I'm fine, why shouldn't I be fine, I knew I'd see you with someone else someday" he said scratching the back of his neck and smiling weakly, "you just didn't expect it would be him?" I questioned, "look, why not him. I know he's a nice guy, he's best you could've gone for, at least I know he'll look after you. He's someone who actually deserves you. So, yes I'm fine with this, more than fine, I-I'm great actually. I hope you two have a good day" Drew smiled at me, "alright, thank you. For being so good about this, I don't wanna hurt you" I told him, "The way I hurt you? You're too good, go on, get back to James" Drew said looking in James's direction. "Ok, bye" I smiled as I turned around and headed back to James.
Drew's POV:
"Hey was that Beth?" Levi asked walking over, "yup" I said popping the P, "you ok?" he asked suspiciously, "nope" I said popping the P again, "come on, lets get out of here" I added, Levi nodded and we left the shop.
"So why was she in there?" Levi asked me, "she was on a date with James, something tells me this isn't there first date" I sighed, "well, they probably didn't tell you because of obvious reasons" Levi shrugged, "I don't care that I didn't know, I mean finding out like this is a kick to the crotch but I'll survive" I shrugged, "at least you've got me" Levi smiled widely, "wow very reassuring" I rolled my eyes and smirked, "thanks" Levi said bluntly, "I'm joking. Come on lets head back" I told Levi smiling as we headed back to our dorm.
When we got back Nate was sat with his knees to his chest as he tapped about on his phone, "you two are back early" Nate said confused, "we saw Beth and James out on a date" Levi told him, "ooh that's awkward" Nate cringed, "did you know they were dating?" Levi asked him, "well yeah, we doubled not to long ago" Nate shrugged, "and you didn't say anything?" Levi said looking offended, "well it wasn't my place to say anything" Nate defended himself, "guys it's fine. I know now, maybe it was better for me to find out this way" I shrugged, "see he's fine" Nate said to Levi, "well I never said I was fine, I'm pretty damn not fine actually" I told the pair of them, "yeah, well we don't expect you to be 100% I mean it's weird for us seeing you this hurt by a breakup but we get it, you care about Beth and you didn't really wanna break up with her" Levi explained, "well, I did and now she's out with... James" I rolled my eyes, "at least James is a good guy" Levi smiled, "he's the best guy" I sighed.
