All of us got dressed for Austin's declaration of whether he was guilty or not. We all got into a mini bus and went down to the court room. I was silent the whole way but Reece kept giving me reassuring smiles to keep me going. "I think the first rule is Levi... Don't speak" Drew told him, "my friends career is at stake believe me I'm being quiet" Levi told him, "Mia are you ok" Beth asked me, I just nodded. I didn't have any words to say because I really wasn't ok. We got out of the mini bus and there were people all over the court room. We walked in and took a seat behind Austin who was sat with Joe at the table. "Hey" I whispered to him, "hey" he smiled at me, "you're going to be ok you know that right?" I whispered back, "as long as Levi doesn't speak I'll be fine" he chuckled, "where you ok last night?" I asked him, "it could've been better" he admitted. "All rise for Judge Banks."

We where half way through the hearing and the case seemed to be swaying in favors, sometimes it would look good for us then it just wouldn't. "I want to say something" I told Joe. Who then had my permission to speak granted. "and who are you?" The judge smiled at me, "Mia Clarke" I spoke confidently, "the victim?" The judge questioned looking confused, "I'd prefer girlfriend, I'm not a victim of anything" I spoke up, "the charges state you were the victim in this case" he said confused, "if I may, I think the only victim in this case is Austin. He's been accused because of a few lies that had nothing to do with said person and now he's facing prison over something that's a lie. I'm 18 years old so therefore classed as an adult correct?" I spoke with the most confidence I ever had, "correct" the judge nodded, "and therefore able to make my own decisions on who I associate with?" I questioned, "to an extent yes" he nodded, "then the charges that have been presented here are a waste of your good time are they not?" I questioned, "so you agreed to any acts that took place with the accused?" he asked, "with my full consent. I love him and I think this whole thing is just a huge misunderstanding, Austin doesn't deserve prison for this because he didn't do anything. He's the sweetest person I know" I nodded defending him with all I had, "do you have anything to say defendant?" the judge asked Mrs Peters who was sat on the opposite table, she sat silent. "How do we know this isn't just a script told by a scared girl?" she questioned, "she sounds sincere and why would she lie about this and defend the person you claim to have raped her?" he questioned, "like I said, A scared girl tells lies" Mrs Peters spoke folding her arms and I looked at her angrily because there was nothing more I could say, "we'll let the jury make their decision" the judge said looking towards them. "whatever happens. I love you" I said to Austin as he turned to look at me, "I love you too and if is the last time we'll touch each other for a while please wait for me" he smiled at me, I leaned over and kissed his lips, "I'd wait forever for you" I smiled at him, "the jury have decided."
"The jury have decided the charges of rape that are held against Mr Corini will be found as... Not guilty" a wave of joy filled me and the group hugged, "please find your way to the exits" The judge said
We got outside and Austin picked me up and hugged me and kissed me, "wow to think I might not have seen your face everyday made me sick to the stomach" he smiled kissing me again, "remember Austin, Mia. I want you out of my school before 8pm tomorrow" Mrs Peters said as she walked by us, "we're gone!" Austin said in her face as he showed off his victory. When Austin put me down I walked over to where Samantha was stood, "oh and if you ever accuse any of us of something so despicable again I will personally hunt you down and kill you before throwing your body into the ocean so nobody finds you" I told her, she didn't say a word. I ran back to Austin and he embraced me again.
Reece's POV:
We where out for a celebratory meal, the victory today meant everything could go back to normal and seeing how happy Mia was with Austin made things completely worth the hassle of last night.
I got up and went to the bathroom and Austin followed me, "hey hold up" he said cheerfully, "ooh group trip" I chuckled to him, he laughed. "Seriously dude I wanna just say thanks for looking after Mia last night. She told me you went over to see how she was and watched over her when she was worried, it was big of you thanks it was nice to find out someone had gone over" he said seriously with a smile on his face, "oh, it was no trouble really I knew she'd be kinda distraught" I shrugged, "well thanks anyway, it's nice to know you had my back and someone was there to look after her" he smiled, "like I said, she was no trouble" I smiled awkwardly, "just thought I'd thank you, I know some guys would have probably been insecure but I trust Mia and more importantly I trust you and I know you guys have been friends for years so it's nice knowing you're both trust worthy" he smiled as we walked into the bathroom, "well you two are nice together you know I'm not one to spoil someone else's relationship" I shrugged, "even if so, I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of you anyway" he chuckled, "why'd you say that?" I chuckled, "Sara, Blake and George have told us you are quite short tempered and have a tendency to snap" he smiled, "nahh" I shook my head.
We walked back to the table and me and Austin sat down, "what did he say to you?" Sara whispered to me, "he was thanking me for looking after Mia" I whispered back, "if only he knew you had an everlasting crush on her" Sara muttered quietly, "I'm not like that ok, I'll find someone else" I shrugged, "good" she smiled at me, "you can trust me" I told her with a shrug, "its a good job" she chuckled.
