It was Christmas morning and we all gathered in the big hall around the Christmas tree to exchange gifts. We all sat on the set out sofas, chairs and blankets, and laughed at each others gifts. George handed me his gift to me and I opened it gently, and the gift was a picture of our whole group when we went out for Levi's birthday paintballing. "George this is very sweet thank you" I smiled at him giving a quick hug. "you're really hard to shop for" George sighed, "yeah, so are you" I chuckled. Austin gave Mia her present on the sly he got her a massive box full of different makeup and sprays, "are you trying to say that I'm ugly and smell funny or something" she smirked, "of course I'm not don't be stupid" Austin rolled his eyes, Mia laughed. Drew bought Beth loads of different merchandise from her favorite things. "Don't worry I've not forgotten about you" Nate smiled at me, he handed me a small gift felt like a box, "I didn't think you had" I chuckled, I unwrapped the gift and saw the small navy ring box, I opened it and it was the same ring I had been looking at about a month ago, it reminded me of one I saw when I was back home, I hadn't stopped thinking about it and now it was here in my hand.

"It's beautiful. Thank you so much Nate" I said kissing him, "how much did this cost you?" I said baffled by the expense he could've paid. "A chunk out of mummy's bank balance that's how much" Nate's mum smiled, "you deserve nice things. I know this year has been tough for you. With me and all the hard work you've put in to get where you are. You deserve this" Nate smiled, "this means a lot to me, more than a lot. Thank you" I chuckled before pecking his lips.
We all exchanged the rest of the gifts and made hot drinks for everyone. The group and their families talked until it was the middle of the day. We watched movies after lunch and all huddled together and enjoyed our Christmas day. Mia and Austin were slyly holding hands behind Levi's back. Sly.
George's POV:
I went to the mini fridge to grab a bite to eat and Reece followed me, he stood beside me as I scanned the fridge, "another Christmas goes by and you and Sara are still just friends. You're too brave" Reece chuckled, "what the hell?" I laughed confused, "Why are you not dating yet?" he smirked, "if you haven't noticed she has a boyfriend and like I tell you every time you ask. We're just friends, besides I don't need a girlfriend. I'm quite content with my life as it is" I shook my head, "that's sad-" "How is it? Just because I have the capacity to let my best friend be happy instead of mess with her head, I'm sad. No I'm happy, actually I'm very happy because she's happy and my life is going pretty damn well for once, thank you for asking" I snapped at him, "how would you mess with her head you're like perfect" Reece shrugged, "I'm going to skip over that actually nice compliment and tell you that. There are a lot of things that you don't know about me that I am not ready to divulge, you're one of my best friends so I ask you to respect my privacy and pretend this conversation never happened" I told him before waking back over to the group.
It became late and it was almost time to eat Christmas dinner. I helped the other boys set the rather large table, "this has been nice" Levi smiled, "yeah it's been a good Christmas" Blake smiled, "it's not over yet don't put the kiss of death on it" Reece smiled, "what's that supposed to mean?" Drew chuckled, "northern term don't dwell on it" I chuckled, "I'm just glad my mum hasn't asked about my love life" Levi smiled, "she hasn't yet" Nate laughed, "I don't know how I'll break it to her" Levi shook his head, "break what to her?" Drew asked, "that she's never getting grandchildren" Levi sighed, pretending to feel sorry for himself, "Levi. you'll find someone" Blake laughed, "besides, I wouldn't be surprised if she already had grandchildren" Drew muttered under his breath, "what's that?" Levi asked, "nothing" Drew shouted, Levi confused, went back to setting out the spoons.
We all sat down to the Christmas dinner feast, Nate's dad carved the turkey and handed it out.
"Sara you don't need that much gravy" I told her laughing, "but I like gravy" she said putting the gravy pot down, her food was practically swimming in the stuff, "that's disgusting" Reece told her, "I don't care" Sara said cutting a potato.
Mia's POV:
We were finished eating out main course and were waiting on dessert, me and Austin kept looking at each other over the table, he kept smirking, I was unaware to why. "Austin I love you dearly but stop caressing my leg with your foot" Levi spoke up, everyone laughed, except Sara who was horribly disgusted. "Why would you do that?" Sara said to Austin in sheer disgust. "I don't know" he shrugged, "he was probably aiming for Mia" Levi spoke up, Mia and Austin's eyes widened as the community found out. "Levi" Austin snarled, "oh, were you keeping your relationship a secret. Oh I'm sorry" Levi said with a small smirk creeping up to his lips, I elbowed Levi hard. "Ow" he screeched in pain. "Mia?" my mum questioned with her eyebrows raised, "directions to the nearest high bridge?" I said looking to Beth, who just chuckled, "I won't embarrass you further" my mum smirked, "gee thanks" I said sarcastically.
Dessert came out and everyone was chatting as they ate. Apart from me that is, I sat feeling completely red faced from the incidents of a couple moments ago. "I'm sorry" Levi said looking at me with puppy dog eyes, "it's fine I guess" I huffed, "now is there something you want to say to me?" he questioned, "no" I shook my head, "you elbowed me" he told me, "yeah and I'm not sorry" I shook my head, "you're mean" he pouted, "you told the whole table about something I was keeping secret. You're mean" I said quietly, he fell silent. "That's what I thought."
We spent the rest of the night watching our performances from the Christmas show, well the tide, new hope club and Sara's. "I love watching my performance it's so good" Sara smiled to herself, "usually I'd say, you're so vain, but yes. It was amazing" I smiled at Sara, "thanks to you and Beth. I never thanked you guys properly for the help on that performance so thank you" Sara smiled at me and Beth and we hugged.
