Nate's POV: I had been pretty quiet for the past few days. My spat with Brad spread like wildfire around the school and Charlotte would flip me off every time I walked by. But see if I care, he was the one who betrayed Sara not me.
I took myself for a walk, away from everything. I just needed some time to myself to think. I sat on a bench that was beside the stream, and stared out. "You're a fucking idiot" I cursed to myself, "you know why you're an idiot?" "Because you care to much" I sighed. Ok only crazy people ask and answer their own questions. I sat thinking to myself for another 5/10 minutes before I got distracted by the sound of people laughing and it was familiar laughter. I listened to the laughing in the distance before curiosity got the better of me and I went to investigate. I wandered quietly in and out the trees before I saw George and Sara sat further down the stream and they were just sat, laughing and talking. Not a care in the world.
I edged slightly closer and watched from a distance to their conversation. "I'll stay here with you this Christmas. I'm not leaving you alone again" George smiled at her, "you can't do that. Your mum will want you back home" Sara sighed, "yeah well I want you to have a Christmas that you deserve. The thought of you sitting here all alone every year makes me feel sick" George admitted to her, "I appreciate the offer but you're going home" she laughed, "no I'm not" George sang, "you are" she sang back, "whatever" George rolled his eyes.
I turned away and started walking back to my bench. She stays here by herself every year and on Christmas. Christmas is family time. I mean if you haven't got a family it's kinda difficult but she shouldn't be stuck here alone at Christmas. I'm not gonna let that happen.
I headed back to the school to find Drew, Levi and the others. I finally found them all sat in the music room, chatting away. "There he is. Where have you been?" Beth smiled at me, "not important. We need to stay here over Christmas" I told them, "why the fuck would we do that?" Levi cursed, "because Sara has to stay here and I wanna do something special for her" I told him, "so, just because you wanna do something special for your girlfriend the rest of us have to suffer and miss out on family time which we hardly get as it is?" Levi said with an attitude, "you didn't let me finish. Maybe we invite all our families here and have a big Christmas dinner together" I suggested with a smile, "it could be cute" Mia shrugged, I smiled. "Wait. So we'd be meeting parents?" Drew said with a panicked expression, "don't shit yourself it would just be my mum. If you can find my dad by all means bring him along" Beth chuckled, we all stayed in awkward silence for a good minute or so. "Well..." Austin sighed breaking the silence. "I guess it wouldn't be too bad then" Reece spoke up, "yeah. Sounds like a plan" Blake smiled. "I wanna surprise her so don't say anything" I told them all and they all agreed.

Beth's POV: Later in the day I got a text from Drew. It explained that he was taking me out some place nice and I needed to put something half decent on. How lovely of him.
I got myself ready and then headed outside where Drew was stood waiting, he was wearing a white shirt and black skinny jeans. I watched him smile as I emerged from the building, "you look cute" he smiled, "cute? Are you getting all soppy with me?" I chuckled, "it's your fault you've made me soppy" he smiled, "come on, let's go" he said taking my arm and leading me out the school where a taxi waited outside.
