Mia's POV:
The next morning was quiet, especially after all the drama of last night, Sara's dad had left almost immediately after her outburst, I don't blame her for storming off.
Me Beth and Sara were going out to get our hair and makeup done for tonight's party, we had chosen our outfits and decided that the three of us would make a night out of this party.
"Did you and Drew ever talk about what went on last night?" I asked Beth as we sat in adjacent chairs having our hair done, she looked around her before speaking, "no, I think he forgot, I'm glad" she sighed, "what's going on with you two?" I asked curiously, "nothing we're fine, just a little snappy from all the tension last night" Beth admitted but when you've been friends with someone for so long you know when something's up. "Oh alright" I shrugged, I wasn't getting into this here.
We finally all finished having our hair and makeup done, Sara kept admiring herself in the mirror, she had been pretty silent all day. "Come on, we need to get back and get ready" I told the two of them, both of them were quiet as we caught the bus back, "wow and I thought I was the morbid one" I chuckled jokingly, "sorry, just got a lot on my plate" Sara chuckled weakly, "I understand your issues but Beth if you won't tell me what's wrong I can't help you" I sighed to Beth, "I'm fine I swear" she shrugged with a forced smile, "alright whatever you say" I held my hands up in defense. We soon arrived back at the school and we walked through the gates, all the other girls going to the party were dolled up, some were more orange the others. Samantha walked past us with Kayleigh and Charlotte, "see you're going to the party?" We heard her voice behind us, Sara grumbled, "see you're not" Sara looked her up and down, "no thought we'd give it a miss" she folded her arms, "music to my ears" Sara laughed, Samantha rolled her eyes and turned away, "by the way, I think what you did to Reece was disgusting" Sara spoke up as the three of them walked away, "you wouldn't understand. Funny how he ran back to you" she cackled as they carried on walking, "because we're his friends and we have his back, you wouldn't understand loyalty if it hit you over the head" Sara called after her and the three of them carried on walking. "Binch" Sara growled, "let's go, sick of all this beef" I sighed as we turned and walked away.
Nate's POV:
"Damn, I left my phone at the girls room last night" I cursed looking through my bag, "go get it then" Levi chuckled, "I'm halfway through getting ready though" I said looking at him, "I'm sure they won't mind" he shrugged, "you're not even half ready yet can't you go for me?" I asked him, "would that be easier for you?" He said smirking, "well. Yeah" I nodded, "then no" he shook his head and smiled, "you're a piece of shit yno that?" I sighed grabbing my jacket, "I do" he nodded. I grumbled as I zipped up my jacket and put on my shoes before walking out the room and putting my hands in my pockets, to shield them from the cold.
I arrived at the building and walked through the corridors until I got to their room. I knocked on the door, "one sec" someone called from inside, I heard them gambling about and I heard Sara curse, I chuckled then there was silence before the door opened, "hello" Sara smiled at me, "busy in there?" I chuckled, "actually yeah" she nodded, "well I left my phone here last night can I have it?" I chuckled, "sure" she said slowly and suspiciously, "stay here" she smirked, she then walked off, I looked into the room, Mia and Beth were sat with their backs to me and I heard Sara whisper something to them. I sighed and leaned on the door frame, Sara then walked back over and handed me my phone not making eye contact with me, "What did you do?" I questioned, "nothing" she coughed with a small smirk creeping to the corners of her mouth, "something tells me you're lying" I sighed, "we didn't do anything" she shrugged, "what do you mean by we?" I raised my eyebrows, "I would suggest it means a group of people no less than two people to be exact" she shrugged, "alright smart ass I'll believe you" I grumbled smirking, "good, see you later" she smiled, "yeah, later" I nodded, she was about to close the door when I spoke up, "you look great by the way" I smiled at her, "I know I do, wait until you see me later" she smirked before closing the door.
