I stared blankly at the text a moment, "Woooo, can I do your makeup?" Sara questioned looking over my shoulder, I came back to reality, "Sara!" I said in shock holding my phone to my chest, "I'll pick out her outfit" Beth said running to the wardrobe, "Oh god-" "I can do your makeup though right?" Sara questioned "yeah, ok-" "Ok so to the makeup then." Sara said jumping up and to her makeup draw.
It wasn't late, only about 5 and frankly the idea of a date now was weird. I was excited obviously, but I'd been working hard all day, the pressure of this date just added to the pressure of my work.
There was a knock on the door, just as Sara finished my makeup and I got up and answered it, at the door stood Austin in a white shirt and skinny suit pants, he looked stunning. "You ready?" he said snapping back to reality after he'd looked me up and down, "as ever" I shrugged. We walked out the building with our arms linked, "You look gorgeous" he smiled at me, "I could say the same for you" I chuckled, "So where are you taking me?" I questioned, "it's still a secret" he informed me, "Are we going for Italian?" I questioned smirking, "maybe" he said suspiciously, "so yeah" I nodded, "still a secret" he shrugged.
We made it to the restaurant, and yes I was right. An Italian date with a slightly Italian man. "I was right" I smiled at him, "you're very clever aren't you?" he asked rhetorically, I chuckled. We walked in and we got seated at out table. Two seater window table that looked out across the small river. The river was still and you could hear the birds singing as the sun slowly went down. "I have to tell you something, it has to be tonight" Austin blurted out as our drinks arrived, "yeah. What's that?" I questioned with a slightly worried expression, "I have known you since the middle of September, so I've known you a whole month, and I can honestly say it's been the most exciting and fun month I've ever had. You're so fun to be around, especially since you've become more comfortable around me and I've wanted to just say to you that... That, That I love you and it's been really hard for me to say that after my last girlfriend but with you it feels right y'no, you're an amazing girl and when I wake up in a morning you're the first thing on my mind, I know it's cringy and oh so typically romantic but I do, I really do love you. To the moon and beyond" he said holding my hand on the table, a smile spread across his face, he looked slightly worried at the same time. He was waiting on me to say it, "I love you too, more than you'd even want to think" I chuckled smiling at him, he smiled back. I watched his eyes look past me and his smile soon drop. "What's wrong" I panicked, "Mrs Peters and her husband have just walked in here" he said holding back his scream. I started to hyperventilate, "What the fuck" I whisper-yelled. "Calm down, one of us need to just run away a little while" Austin shrugged, "how about we both run and head somewhere else" I suggested in panic, "good thinking, lets go" he rushed as we both stood and hurried to the door, "Mr Corini is that you?" her voice sounded, "keep going I'll meet you in a moment" he whispered in my ear. So I hurried away as quickly as I could as Austin turned to converse with Mrs Peters.
I stood outside for a good 10 minutes before he came out, "you took your time" I sighed, "I know I'm sorry, she kept asking who you were" he informed me, "what did you say?" I questioned, "I said you were my date, said I'd known you a while and your new name is Ginny-" "Ginny. Like Weasly?" I questioned, "Sorry, Nate's really got me into Harry Potter recently" he told me, "it's fine, now where do you wanna go" I questioned "why don't we go to a hotel, book a room and order room service, that way no one will see us" he suggested, "oooo a hotel, fancy" I chuckled, "don't worry, we'll be back in school before 6" he reassured me.

We headed to a hotel and Austin booked us a room and room service meals. We walked in and I threw myself on the bed, "this bed is real comfy" I told him, "yeah, maybe I should join you" he winked at me, "by all means, look at all this room" I smirked at him patting the bed beside me. "I accept your offer" he smiled as he sat beside me and I kissed his lips, he ran his hand up my leg, just resting it on my thigh. He lay me down on the bed and gently caressed just under the hem of my dress. He was so gentle, he treated me like, if he was too rough he'd break me. He kissed my neck, I ran my hands up his back, I could feel his back muscles through his shirt and all of me just wanted to stay this way with him until morning. I really loved him and the fact I could say that he loved me back gave me a warm feeling.
There was then a knock at the door, he stopped kissing my neck and paused, "that'll be the food" he muttered, his lips millimeters away from my skin, "should probably get that then" I chuckled quietly, he jumped up and answered the door and got the food.

We sat and ate, exchanging glances as we ate. "Hey, can I ask you something?" I said putting my fork down, "anything" he nodded, "you know when you were telling me you loved me?" I asked, "yeah" he nodded, "you said it was hard because of your ex. What happened? If you don't mind me asking" I shrugged awkwardly, "I don't mind. Yeah, it has been hard for me ever since her, she was my everything, I gave her everything. I treated her like a princess and then she went and destroyed everything we had, she used me, hurt my family she tried to sleep with my brother and break up him and his fiance, she was just horrible. I told her I loved her several times and every time she said she loved me back it was a half hearted I love you and I could see in her eyes that she didn't really love me. I don't know why I stayed with her so long, I guess that's just what love does to you" he shrugged, "oh, Austin I'm sorry-" "n-no it's fine. I have you now, you're what restores hope in my heart for relationships" he smiled at me, "Awh" I cooed, I saw him blush slightly.
When we had finished our food it was late, we climbed into bed next to each other and I buried my head in his chest and he wrapped his arms protectively around me, not suffocating me tight, but tight so that I knew he was there. I could hear his heart beat and the sound of his heart race when he kissed the top of my head made me smile, I knew he was in love with me but after hearing the story about his ex, I was worried that I would do something wrong or hurt him and I never want to do that to him, he's so special. There aren't many guys like him, proof. Drew, Levi and Nate and I don't care what Sara and Beth say, or what he claims, Reece is worse than the three of them in secret.
