Today I was meeting with Beth, it was last thing on a Friday and we hadn't talked much since the weekend, except over messenger, because I had been fixed with beating those girls at the Christmas show and now I know we have the edge with The Vamps I hadn't worried as much.
"Hey stranger" I smiled at her, "I know, its been a while" she chuckled as we approached each other, "so how's the song coming along?" she asked me, "amazing, The Vamps walked in on us playing" I told her with a large smirk on my face, "cool, we ran into them too. Pretty sure something was going on between Sara and Brad, they wouldn't take their eyes off each other the whole time we were having lunch with them" she told me and my face dropped. Are you kidding? She's flirting her way to the top, that's not fair. I swear if I was a girl I would press my chest against him so hard he would pass out.

"Flirting?" I questioned as my voice cracked, "yeah. Why what's the problem?" Beth asked with a worried smile on her face, "n-nothing. Just think it's cheating, don't you think so?" I questioned, "cheating in what way?" she questioned suspiciously, "to get the record deal, she's gonna sleep with the lead to get the job" I said with a small burst of frustration. "What because they flirted a little, believe me Drew she wouldn't sleep with someone to get a job, or to 'beat' you. Besides Brad started flirting with her first and why would anyone turn down the chance to be with a band member" Beth growled in defense of her friend, "you wouldn't sleep with me and I'm a band member" I crossed my arms and smirked at her, "yeah because I know you, I'm not gonna hurt myself like that" she told me bluntly, "you have no idea if I'd hurt you or not" I shrugged unfolding my arms, "your reputation proceeds you. I won't be taking that risk" she sighed.
We sat talking until about 7 when you could see it was already starting to go dark and we should really be heading back to our rooms. All I could think about was Sara getting that deal, it was driving me crazy. You're being pathetic Drew, they wouldn't sign someone with less talent than you and your boys. No they wouldn't. But what if they think she's better? Holy crap maybe she is better. You're gonna end up in the mad house if you keep talking to yourself in this way.
"Drew. Drew" Beth said waving her hand in front of my face, "oh, sorry. I'm a little tired" I told her pretending to yawn, "yeah, me too. Maybe we should head off, before Mrs Peters escorts us back to our rooms" Beth chuckled. Wow she bought that. "Yeah well I'll message you later" I said grasping her in a hug, "okay well, I'll see you tomorrow" Beth smiled as we parted and went our separate ways. But the image of Sara getting that record deal just wasn't leaving me. I walked into my room and saw Levi sat on his phone and Nate was face down on his bed. Already asleep, lazy git.
"Oh you're back. What's up?" Levi asked, his eyes still attached to the screen of his phone, "Sara tryna get in Brad's pants and Brad's letting her" I sighed kicking my shoes off. "What?" Nate woke up, me and Levi gave him a funny look and I continued, "yeah, Beth says the other day they had lunch with them and they seemed to really hit it off" I sighed, "and you're worried because?" he dragged the end of the because, "because she's gonna flirt her way to that record deal" I sighed and rolled my eyes, "oh, you really think she'd do that?" Levi questioned, "not intentionally" I ran one hand through my hair and lay back on my bed, "Here's an idea" Levi spoke after a couple minutes silence, "what's that" I questioned, "well there's two things, the first is. We should sing for them, the party on Sunday is being held in the sports hall, which means we can get Austin, our stuff and perform for the vamps, I overheard Kayleigh saying they'd be there, which means we could give them another taste of what we're made of" Levi told me and Nate, "that's not a bad idea, yeah. They could see us perform for an audience which would show them our confidence. Yeah Levi, that's awesome, We'll talk to Austin tomorrow and get rehearsing" I smiled happily, Inside I was buzzing at Levi's great idea, "so what was the second thing?" Nate questioned him, "oh yeah. Drew, you could flirt with Sara. Take her focus off Brad, Nate can't she already isn't the biggest fan of Nate and she's already turned me down, You're the only one who hasn't tried to go there with her. Which is weird because you'd have slept with her by now" Levi laughed, "he couldn't it would never work" Nate spoke up, looking more worried about the idea that I could sleep with her, which I wouldn't, unless you know. I had too, "oh yes it will, get her drunk" Levi smirked, "there's no alcohol at the party" Nate told us, "not selling, but that we could bring and when Drew offers to get her a drink we put some strong ass vodka in her drink and then let Drew do whatever he does that makes all girls want him so bad, we'll have Brad there to see and when he see's Sara's all over you he'll realize she isn't interested and Brad can't be mad at you because you had no idea that they were an item, plus the other three boys think we're great anyway, it's a perfect plan" Levi smirked, "it is, Levi. I always knew you were secretly the smartest one of us" I smiled at him and got up and patted him on the back. I had earned this record deal and no one, especially not Sara. Was gonna take that away from me.
