Beth's POV:
I met Drew, Levi and Nate at the far side of the lake away from James and his fangirls. "Hey you found your way" Drew smiled at me as soon as he saw me, "yeah I've been here before" I chuckled, "I've never seen you" he said looking slightly confused, "that's because you've always been on the other side of the lake" I chuckled as he took his seat in between Levi and Nate, "you're just sitting here watching them" I chuckled observing the situation, "yeah, come and join us" Drew chuckled shooing Nate over a little so I could sit beside him, the grass was dry thank the lord.
"This is so weird" I told them as we watched James and his new squad mess around in and around the lake, "how is this weird?" Drew asked me, turning his head to look at me. "You're watching them. Isn't that a bit stalker-ish" I suggested, "don't tell me you never done the same to us" Drew gestured to him and the two other guys, "never, ever in my life" I told him bluntly, "so what do you nerds do then if you don't hang around here?" he questioned, "me personally. I like to sit inside my room on my laptop and then eat lots and sleep lots" I shrugged, "you lazy as shit. Is that what you were doing before I asked you to come out?" he asked with a smile, "pretty much yeah" I nodded smirking, "I could never do that. I need to be outside or with these guys performing or some productive shit" he told me, "do you guys like have a band name or something?" I asked him, "yeah, actually we like to call ourselves. The Tide" he nodded smiling, "is that because you have a Tide of pussy after you?" I asked, causing him to laugh. "Not everything about us is sex you know" he laughed, "no actually I didn't know" I chuckled, "anyway we aren't getting any sort of female body part at the minute thanks to that guy" Levi spoke up, "female body part?" I questioned Levi, "he doesn't like the 'P' word" Drew chuckled, "seriously" I said sounding more shocked than I should have. Drew laughed, "seriously. We're called The Tide because it's simple but people will remember it I guess" he shrugged, "yeah and if you type it on google it'll come up with the beach" I chuckled jokingly, even though it was true. "We're just trying to get somewhere first, we've had Austin acting as our lead singer for the time being" he told me, "As in Austin our music teacher?" I questioned, "yeah why?" he asked looking confused, "just asking. So he can sing then?" I shrugged, "yeah, he's awesome. We get on with him really well and I kinda hate the idea of finding another lead singer" he admitted, "then stick with him then" I suggested, "he's our teacher, do you really think he'd go for it?" Drew asked, then I thought about him and Mia and whatever it was that they had going on. "I'm positive he'd go for it" I smiled at him, "well I guess we'll ask him then" Drew nodded.
We sat at the edge of the lake laughing and joking among the 4 of us for a good hour. We talked about the weirdest things and I somehow felt comfortable with the three of them, I knew they were dicks, well how they liked to use them, but I felt liked I fitted in nicely with them. They guessed the same because the three of them suggested I come out with them more often, said it was like being with one of the guys, Drew adding that I was "a very hot guy". Hanging out with them was fun and I still felt that Drew was still trying to get in my pants but it didn't bother me as much, I mean I still haven't thought about going near him and getting fucked over like that but now if we were the last two people on earth I probably would date him, for the simple matter that he is the only guy and he isn't exactly ugly is he, I mean to be quite frank he is wow.
We watched the crazy mob on the other side of the lake for a while until I noticed someone appear. Someone I knew, someone I knew well. I watched as she sat with all those people, quickly noticing Samantha, Kayleigh and Charlotte leave at the mere 30 seconds of her presence. "Is that-" "Sara. Yes, Yes it is" I grumbled, slightly irritated. Where were George, Reece and Blake? But that question was soon answered when they appeared beside her and they greeted James. Reece and James seemed to get on very well by the looks of things. I couldn't really get mad because I was sat her with the 3 people we claimed to despise of and Sara was asked to show James around but it was Sunday and I'm pretty sure he knew where he was now. "She seems to be pretty cosy with James" Drew said looking up, "everyone but me has been there" Levi groaned, "I haven't so just-" I zoned out and Drew and Levi talking and I noticed Nate's face, he looked like he was about to cry and that just made me assume what I have, ever since Friday. He cared about Sara, he really was sorry but he couldn't say anything because he was supposed to be a fuck boy and he had to live up to that reputation of being the baddest bad he could be.
