~ooooOOOoooo~

"Have any of you heard of Rohypnol?"

Hanna, Cameron, mom and I shook our heads.

"It is a drug that could pose serious mental issues such as loss of memory, but it isn't strong enough to kill. Usually, it is used for rape or kidnapping," he looked back to the clipboard, but it was obvious he had his information memorised. All he needed was a quick breather.

"But in Mr Murray's case, this was definitely not the motive. Not only was Rohypnol found in a large quantity, but so was GHB, another drug that causes memory loss, seizures and black outs even when used in a small amount, proving that the murderer was going for the kill. Also-"

"Sir, you are a doctor, not a detective, so why don't we just stick to the medical facts and not rush to proving guilty or innocent," Hanna interrupted him.

She had been jumpy about anyone slightly accusing Xavier of the murder all the three hours we spent at the hospital so far.

Mom had surprisingly showed up, and even more shocking was the fact that she brought Chris along with her.

"Sorry about that ma'am. Okay, so continuing on with the medical facts, GHB is easily overdosed, and quite a large quantity was found in our tests."

"What is his present state?" Cameron asked.

"Mr Murray is currently in a medically induced coma to stabilise his mind as the two drugs were causing the most damage to it and the brain."

"When will he be out of the coma?" mom asked.

"We don't know. If he pulls out on his own, then he'll be fine, but we can't take him out or he'll die immediately."

He let us absorb the information, and after a few moments, he nodded and left.

"Uhm, you three can handle yourselves right? I'll be in the waiting room with Chris," mom looked troubled and I knew she needed his comfort.

"You go on ahead, we'll be fine."

"I can't believe it," Cameron ran a hand through his hair. "Some ass done a great job landing a man in the hospital and framing Xavier for it."

We stood together, each in our own thoughts revolving around my almost dead father and our convicted best friend.

"How's Richard Murray?"

A young man stood before us with a smirk plastered on his face. Something told me it was a permanent feature he sported. His light blonde hair looked almost white and fit perfectly with his fair, flawless skin.

"Excuse me?" I asked. I was sure I hadn't seen him before, so how did he know about my dad?

"How is he?" his smirk never left. I got a bad feeling about this guy.

"Who are you?" Hana questioned.

"Kyle. I'd like to know how Richard is doing," he repeated.

When no one answered, he let out an impatient sigh. "Let me rephrase that. I am Kyle Lauckner and I would like to know if the man my brother tried to kill is alive."

"Kyle."

Hanna and I both turned to Cameron. He knew him?!

"Cameron."

And this guy knew Cameron?

"What're you doing here?"

"I got a word little bro's been naughty, so I came to check it out."
