Slight change in the previous chapter; when Hanna says "You have the same class as Grace last period" it's been changed to "You have the same class as us last period."

~ooooOOOoooo~

Throughout the day, Eleanor's presence was noted with quite a passion. By the time last period came around, most of the student body had heard of her.

"We have a few announcements for today," Mrs Kory put down her teaching book. "First; please collect your Prom tickets. The dance is around the corner and you wouldn't want to miss it simply because you were too lazy to collect it now."

Murmurs from behind me caught my attention. "You reckon it's too soon to ask her to be my date?" a guy whispered.

"Eleanor will be taken right before your eyes of you don't hurry. Now's the perfect time; she doesn't know anyone and the jocks are busy buttering her up," his friend replied.

"So you're saying I swoop in now and claim her mine?"

"Exactly what I'm saying!"

Eleanor snorted quietly next to me. "Those idiots don't realise I can hear them?"

I chuckled. She could hear them as clearly as me.

"Second, the highest scorer for Calculus this year has been determined. Grace Moore has earned the title of Top Achiever for this subject!"

"Damn girl! Hot and smart, you're an all in one package, aren't you?" I smiled as Eleanor have me a hearty pat on the back while the rest of the class hooted and applauded.

Hanna shot me a wink from the other side of the classroom. We couldn't find three seats together so she offered to sit separately. She caught up with us when the bell rang. "You coming home with us?"

Eleanor shook her head. "I've got an appointment with my hairstylist," she twirled her strands. "Gotta keep the colour from fading."

I hid a frown. I felt guilty at how her hair was disliked by Cameron simply because she had the same shade as me. While he liked mine, he couldn't bear to look at another person with the same colour.

"Well then, I'll catch you two later. Ta ta!" she scampered away.

"Pretty energetic even at the end of the day, huh?" Xavier popped his head between mine and Hanna's from behind us.

He turned his face to Hanna's and placed a kiss on her cheek, making her blush and push him away. "Again, we're hiding."

He groaned as we started walking out. "I feel like we're a gay couple who can't have society know about us."

"Should've thought about the consequences of dating more than twenty hotheaded girls," she shot back. "And to make it worse, half of them are redheads!"

"Good point there," I chimed and ran my hand against the thin poles of the school's main gate.

A sleek, black Porsche zoomed into the parking lot up front. I lifted an eyebrow. Which high schooler could own something like that?

The driver's door opened and a long, jeans wearing leg stepped out. A young man with stylish sunglasses swooped out and closed the door. He walked to the passenger side and leaned against the door.

"Woaahh!" I tapped the bickering couple next to me and gave a pointed look at the man.

"Who's he?" Hanna asked.

When he caught us gawking at him, he smiled, removed his sunglasses and waved.

My eyes widened as I recognised him. His brown hair was gelled to make a classic side sweep style. "You!" I waved back and prepared to run to him before getting held back by Xavier.
