Sorry for the wait! With work and holidays, I've been slacking a little. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves because 2017 is just around the corner! Enjoy and let me know what you think. I'm a little unsure about this chapter.

**| Silas's POV |**

"Are sure everything is set?" I asked North.

"Fuck, yes. Everything is fine."

I gripped the steering wheel. "I just want this evening to be nice. She needs nice."

North smiled at me. "Of course it'll be nice. It'll just be us and Sang baby after all."

"Plus a boat nearby with the Toma team in it." I frowned. The Toma team were diligently watching Sang but that meant they were even shadowing moments like these.

"Corey and Brandon," North said, his eyes darkening. He hated that we needed the extra help in protecting Sang. It rubbed him, and me, the wrong way knowing we weren't enough in keeping her safe.

"We have a lot of making up to do with her," I whispered, my thoughts turning to Saturday. Aggele mou had abandonment issues and I knew I played a part in that happening. She had been always waiting for us to walk out. I could see it. But on Saturday, I think we got through to her. Even if her father walked away, even if everyone in the world walked away from her, I was there to stay. No matter what. And I knew North felt the same.

We were here to stay, including our brothers.

I wouldn't survive being the reason she broke down like that again. She didn't deserve to be treated like she didn't exist. She deserved the world.

I pulled into Sang's driveway, knowing Gabe was in there working his magic. We were going to surprise her with a date tonight. We wanted to get her mind off everything that was happening before we all went back to school tomorrow and threw ourselves into our mission.

When Mr. Blackbourne told us last night that we didn't need to go to school today, North and I knew exactly what we wanted to do and what Sang definitely needed. A date night. Some way to just relax and not think or talk about the heavy topics.

Tonight, we were giving her an escape.

We went into the house, in matching outfits of dark jeans and button up shirts. North was in all black and I was in dark grey jeans and a dark blue button up shirt.

Gabriel stood at the bottom with a shit-eating grin on his face when we walked through the front door.

"Meanie, I still don't understand why you made me get all dressed up," Sang said as she came down the stairs.

North and I froze as we watched a gorgeous angel descend down. She wore a dress that flared out around her knees but gripped her chest. The top half was a tribal design in pink, black, and light blue with the skirt part a solid pink. She wore black heels that managed to make her legs seem longer. Her blond hair was in soft, layered waves around her face, barely skimming her shoulders.

After the kidnapping, Gabriel had to cut off her beautiful long hair because of what that bastard did. Gabriel was furious when he realized a chunk of her hair was cut off and that alone almost had him joining the manhunt for the kariolis (motherfucker). Only Sang was able to get him to calm down when she said she wanted him to cut it and she was due for a hair cut anyways.

Gabriel worked his magic with her hair.

There was minimum make up too, just enough to highlight her bright green eyes and soft pink lips.

I shifted on my feet as she came down, wishing I wore something a little more comfortable. Sang's eyes focused on us with wide surprised eyes. Happiness slipped in as she came down the last stop, standing in front of us with her head tilted to the side.
