**| Sang's POV |**

I kept my back against the wooden shield as I heard the paintballs pelt the other side of it. They had me pinned. I eyed the wooden structure a few feet from me. I would need to jump over it to get to the other side, but once I did, I would have a clear path to the flag. Not a conventional path, but a clear one all the same.

I just needed my distraction to get in place.

"Sang," Luke called out and I looked over to the other side, where he was crouched down, his mask pushed up onto the top of his head. I scowled and he knew exactly why. His mask should be down. What if he got shot in the face? That would hurt.

He sent me a grin. "I got you," he said, ignoring my displeasure.

I nodded. He finally lowered his mask and I relaxed as he lifted up three fingers and slowly lowered each one. The moment he made a fist, I went on the move, sprinting to the obstacle I would need to jump over. I felt something thud against the ground but kept moving, knowing if I stopped, I would be a goner. I pushed my gun to behind my back, feeling it slap against my vest as I put both hands on the wooden structure and jumped while pushing off at the same time.

I went over and landed on the other side, rolling with the momentum, the gun painfully stabbing into me. I ignored it and got to my feet, sprinting to the next structure to hide behind, hearing the boys yelling out.

"How the hell did you miss her?" Nathan yelled out at someone and I smirked at the sound of his frustration. He was just as competitive as me.

"She's spritely," Sean answered back and some of the others chuckled at that. I nodded my head in agreement, eyes meeting with Kota's, who just grinned at me.

After a moment, he made a whirling motion with his hand, telling me to wrap it up. I agreed. He stepped out, sending off shots. Someone swore. I ignored all the action as I stayed crouched and made my way to the flag. We just had to get through one person now.

Gabriel.

I glanced behind me to see Luke get into position. From where I was, I would need to go quite a bit to get to the flag, but that was the idea. This was the part where I disappeared on them. They wouldn't see me getting closer as Luke moved closer, drawing attention to himself.

When Luke's head popped up briefly, now closer to the flag than I was, everyone switched their focus on him.

And I went on the move.

They really didn't think this through when they used the pipes to add to the course. The insides were hollow and just big enough for me to fit in with just enough room to wiggle through. If it were any of the others, they would have easily gotten stuck, but I was small. I smiled to myself. I could finally use my smallness to my advantage.

While they were busy shooting Luke, I dove into the first tube and army crawled through it to get to the other end. I paused when everything went quiet.

"Where'd she go?" Victor asked and I smacked my hands over my mouth to keep from giggling out loud. I didn't want to give myself away. His voice was nearby and I could hear the crunch of the grass as he walked by.

Now I just needed to wait for the all clear signal from my teammates.

"Shit, we need eyes on Peanut," Nathan said.

Then more shots were fired.

"Hit," Victor called out.

"Fuck," Gabriel swore. His support against the flag was slowly dwindling down. Nathan and Sean were too busy trying to get to our flag, but Silas and North were on that end. There was no sneaking up on North.
