Look, it's a snapshot!! Remember what I did in the first book? It still applies for this one. If you get me interested enough in a scene from a different POV or in this case, something that happened off scene, let me know! Maybe I'll do a quick little write-up for it but that interest needs to be made before I update again. In this case, this snapshot is of Raven busting Maria's party. I couldn't help myself. Enjoy!

**| Raven's POV |**

Brandon followed behind as I weaved through the cars and people, keeping a friendly smile on my face as I glanced at the peredniki (brats) around me. They thought they were shits as the laughed and joked around.

I shook my head.

"What are you thinking?" Brandon asked.

I reached over to the holster to pat my baby. "If everyone is looking for a buzz, I'll introduce them to my pchelka. (Bee.)"

My own little joke had me chuckling as someone tried to give me a good old shoulder hit but failed, staggering back. The boy's hand went to his shoulder as he gaped at me. I gave him my 'fuck you' glare and he took off.

"This is going to be fun," I said and Brandon chuckled as we went up the couple of steps to the open front door. Brandon frowned with the lack of security and I felt the same. Stupid little girl left the door wide open for predators.

People were half drunk and I looked forward to watching them staggering away with fear after I was through with them.

"Just don't shoot anyone," Brandon warned. "I don't feel like getting you out of jail and after the last time you ended up there, I doubt they'll you out. The Academy can only do so much."

"Well I can't help it if that rapist bastard fell into my fist. And I thought he learned a good lesson. He shouldn't hit things harder than he is. Zanudnyy. (Wimp.)"

I rolled my muscles to get relaxed. I was going to make the sister pay. I'd been wanting to do something to get at her for saying those things to her little sister when their mother was sent to the hospital. Not much of a family. I didn't mind playing the big brother though. I'll always protect Sang with everything I had. She deserved it.

I hated what this family has done to her and I had to wonder what happened to her during that week when we first met. What was she going through that I didn't know about? What did she hide from me?

My anger spiked at that. But luckily for me, I had a target right in front of me.

I glanced at Brandon who glanced at his phone nodded. Everything was set.

Game on.

I glanced around quickly and found my target. I aimed and let loose a shot, the bullet embedding itself high on the wall.

The room froze, the only sound the music blasting as everyone turned to me, blinking their glazed over eyes stupidly.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOME?!" I boomed, thickening my accent and hardening my expression, knowing Brandon looked just as fierce at my back. No one said anything. "IF YOU'RE STILL HERE IN TWO MINUTES, CONSIDER YOUR LIVES FORFEITED!"

I shot my pchelka again and everyone went on the run. Trying to use that little bit of leeway to find their things while others ran past me and out the door, tripping over their own feet or in one case, someone else's.

"W-What the hell?" a girl stuttered as she approached me, her eyes wide as they focused on the gun. I took in her bland features. Maria. My lip curled into a snarl.

"Consider this party over," I snapped at her.

The music turned off—no doubt someone making sure to leave with their sound system.

"ONE MINUTE!" I boomed, letting my voice flood the house as I let out another shot.

Horns honked, people screamed, cars screeched. Music to my ears.

"You can't do that," she screamed, stomping her foot. Of course the movement was a little too much for her and she swayed on her feet, almost losing her balance.

"Go to your room," I said, voice hard. "Consider yourself grounded."

She let out a screeching noise and I had to hold back a wince as her voice nearly busted my eardrums.

"THIRTY SECONDS!" The stragglers dove for the door, thinking their lives depended on it. One even smashed into the door frame, breaking his nose. He was going to be feeling that in the morning.

Finally, the house cleared and the cars were disappearing. Brandon sent me a nod. We had Academy cops nearby to pull them over and make sure they weren't drunk. No need for drunken accidents.

Consider this party busted.

"How...how...how dare you!" Maria yelled. I glared at her, noting the fact that she stayed out of reach.

"Go. To. Your. Room," I said. "I'm not going to repeat myself.

"Get out!"

I charged her and scooped her up before she even had a chance to turn around to run. She screamed, kicking at me, trying to get me to drop her. Brandon moved ahead of me, going up the stairs and opening Maria's door. My nose wrinkled in disgust. We needed hazmat suits for this room.

"Let me down, you gamiméno rosiká, (Fucking Russian,)" she screeched.

"Okay," I said and dropped her right on her ass.

She grunted and glared up at me.

"Stay in here for the rest of the night or I will come back and I will make you regret it."

Her face paled as she watched me put my gun back in my holster. She didn't say anything in return.

"Good."

I turned and slammed her door shut.

Brandon leaned against the wall, arms crossed.

I grinned at him. "Let's make sure this place is cleared up and then get out of here."

"I'm going to make sure none of them get themselves killed."

I shrugged and we went back out into the night.

That was fun.
