**| Sang's POV |**

"Peanut."

A finger poked at my cheek and I tried swatting it away.

"Come on, Sang, wake up."

The finger poked at me again.

"It's Saturday," I mumbled.

A deep chuckle had me smiling. "And also the dinner party we need to get ready for."

I sat up quickly, nearly bumping heads with Nathan. Only his good thinking had him moving back in time to prevent a collision. "Giatí?"

"Because if we don't show up at their party, they will show up at your house. I'd prefer if they stay away from your house. Away from you would be best."

I blinked a couple of times and then turned to Nathan, opening my mouth and then closing it.

"Sang?"

"You know Greek? Giatí den eípate típota? (Why haven't you said anything?)"

He stared at me for a few moments before breaking out laughing. "Peanut, I don't know Greek. Only a word here or there. Listen to it long enough and you pick up a couple of words."

"Oh," I said, my cheeks getting hot.

Nathan tilted his head to the side. "Should I learn?"

"Only if you want to."

He broke out in a wide smile. "For you, I want to."

"Oy, stop flirting with her and drag her pretty butt out of bed already. We have a lot of work to do and only so long to do it," Gabriel said, standing in the doorway. He wore orange khakis with a dark blue top and while on most people it would have looked weird, for him, it was perfect. He had his hand on his hip and one of his eyebrows cocked. He was ten seconds away from tapping his foot.

Nathan laughed as he stood up from his bed that I commandeered last night after dinner and then carefully pulled me out of it and into his chest. My hands landed on his chest and I couldn't help it, I needed to take a moment to enjoy the feel of him against my palms. He was muscular underneath the red t-shirt he wore. Nathan smiled down at me and did a little flexing to make his pectoral muscles even more pronounced underneath my touch. He winked, knowing exactly where my thoughts were. I blushed hard as he stepped away with a chuckle.

He grabbed my hand, looping his fingers with mine before we headed down the hall to the kitchen where Kota and Luke were already at work making breakfast to feed our little army.

"No," Kota said, his lean back towards me. "I usually don't care but I have to put my foot down today. We had it yesterday and frankly, I need a break from chocolate chip pancakes."

"Aw, come on, Kota. Just a couple. I'll make plain ones too."

"No," he said, sounding slightly exasperated. "No pancakes at all."

I let out a small laugh, letting them know I was there.

Kota glanced over his shoulder at me and sent me a smile, his eyes lighting up. "We are going to get you fed and then head over to your place to get ready. You have more space there for everyone. North and Silas will be here later, they went to get your dress and our outfits for tonight."

I smiled and nodded as Nathan led me to the table and guided me into a seat. He sat down next to me.

"How exactly is today working?" I asked, trying to keep my nerves down as I continued to wake up. I had a feeling today was going to be a long day and that thought alone was exhausting. I was going to meet people considered blood family.
