He's acting kinda weird......like someone I know

Abby's POV:

I woke up, the sun shining in my face. I looked over and saw Colby sleeping, breathing steady breaths. I tucked his hair behind his ear and just stared at him. How did I get so lucky to get someone so nice and perfect as him?

" Ummm....why are you staring at me babe? " Colby asked, pulling me out of my thoughts. 

" I was just thinking of how lucky I am to have someone like you. " I said. 

" If anything, I'm lucky to have you. " he said, giving me a kiss. 

" There's something I wanna say. " me and Colby both said. 

" You go first. " I said. 

" Ok.....I.....I love you Abby. I love you so much, it makes my heart ache. You make me so happy and I honestly haven't felt this way towards any other girl before. I love you so freaking much. " he said. 

I felt tears in my eyes. That was the sweetest thing I had ever heard. 

" I love you too. " I said. 

" Really? " Colby asked. 

" Yeah. " I said. 

I pulled him into a kiss and we ended up making out of the bed.

????? POV:

I was gonna make Abby pay for the way she had treated me. I am gonna destroy Abby bit by bit. I looked at my cork board that had pictures of Abby and all her closest friends. The first picture that caught my eyes was her so called boyfriend, Colby Lopez. I drew a red cross onto the picture. I'm getting him first.

Colby's POV: 

I felt so relieved when Abby told me she loved me. I was so nervous when I told her that I loved her because I thought that she didn't feel the same way but I had to get it off my chest. When Abby said she loved me, I was on cloud nine. 

I decided to go for a little run so I told Abby that I was leaving. She gave me a kiss and I left. I was jogging down the street when something hit my head.

Abby's POV:

Colby texted me saying that he would be back in a few minutes so I decided to set out a plate of his favourite cookies. Ginger snaps. I heard the door open and saw Colby walk in. 

" Hi babe. " I said, giving him a hug. 

I don't know why but the hug felt weird. Usually, when I hug Colby, I feel a jolt of electricity run through me but this time, I felt nothing.

" Hi, was you ok while I was gone? " he asked. 

" Yeah. Here, I put some biscuits out for you. " I said, grabbing the plate. 

" Babe, I don't like ginger snaps. " he said. 

" But.....they're your favourite. You're always eating them. " I said confused. 

Colby's eyes widened and then he said, " I meant.......that I don't like ginger snaps without tea. " 

" Ok, I'll go make some. " I said, walking into the kitchen. 

Colby's acting really weird. He loves ginger snaps and all of a sudden, he doesn't . Then, I remembered something. 

Flashback:

2 years ago.....

I was chilling at home and Lucas decided to help me put the groceries away. As I was loading food into the cupboard, I heard a rustle. I turned around and saw Lucas holding a packet of ginger snaps. 

" Babe, why did you buy these? " he asked. 

" I thought you liked ginger snaps. " I said. 

" No, I really don't. They taste really weird. " he said. 

" Oh well, more for me then. " I said chuckling. 

Why do I feel like something's not right. Maybe I'm just overthinking it. I guess people's taste does change from time to time. 

I am just overthinking......right?
