After a long day of playing at the beach with Eric, an early dinner, and tons of eye flash thingies, I was ready to go to bed. That night Eric and I had gone school shopping, so Eric could come to my school tomorrow. We had planned to tell everyone he was an exchange student from Canada (do they even have those?). He was super excited for gym class; he told me he was his orphanages football team. We woke up at 7 and went for a swim, before it came time to leave for school at 8:15. We took the bus and I helped Eric to ignore all the stares from the other girls by telling him about what we were learning in class. I got off the bus and met up with Addison. I told her all about yesterday. She had a sad; almost jealous look on her face, so I added "That just means that one day you'll find your blood mate.", and she perked up right away. "But I'm a semi-mer, apparently." She whined. I smiled, knowing we had problems most girls would dream about. We walked Eric to the office to get his schedule, and he had my homeroom, lunch, and gym period with me. Addison and I had all the same classes except for gym, so we all walked to homeroom together. With Eric towering over me on the left, smiling at me, and Addie on my right, talking to me about a book she was reading, I knew that I wouldn't change a single thing in my life in that moment, ever. But little did I know that I was being watched by someone in the shadows, someone itching to pounce.
