Just then the bus pulls into a gas station (convenient, right?) Mrs. Thompson tells the class we can go to the restroom if we want. "Madi, we need you to take us to your moms house." I say. "And does Eric approve of this?" She responds. He nods quickly. "Fine." She picks up her phone and leads the way off the bus, Addie, Eric, and I following. Under the teachers glare, we act as if we're going to the bathroom, but then go out the back exit at the last second. "It's at 129 Ocean Street. I know, such a creative name." She doesn't talk much after that, just leads us through many sidewalks, a forest, and even more sidewalks. Eventually, we reach a big, pristine manor, right by the sea and many caves. "This is as far as I'm going to take you. Good luck." Eric waves goodbye and we head towards the house. "Let's investigate those caves." I say, and we all take off at a sprint towards the water. We dive in and wait for our tails to form. A flash of green, blue, or red takes over our legs, and we head towards the cave, completely unaware of the splash behind us.
