Dahyun's P.O.V

I can't believe it but with the help of Jae Bum I was able to receive both the gem of ice and the crown of the late queen. It's weird but somehow I just knew what to do when the time came and here my mom was, worried I had no chance whatsoever. 

"I think that's him," I said as I pointed to the sea turtle in front of us.

"Come closer," he said. 

We swam closer as I stayed behind Jae Bum.

"You're Dahyun. Your sister Y/N was just here a minute ago," he said.

"Y/N?" asked Jae Bum.

"Um I'm here to fulfill your request sir!" I shouted and jumped out from behind Jae Bum.

"I know you are. For you, I will ask only one thing," he said.

I smiled brightly.

"Seek what it is that your heart really wants. Don't be blinded by greed or power. Make your own choices and don't be afraid to lose. As you can already tell about yourself, you are capable of more than you think you are. Your quest is to find the greatness and potential I see in you," he stated.

"What do you mean?" 

The old sea turtle sighed.

"Actually I will come with you to the palace. I have to know what path Y/N chose," he said.

"This is me we're talking about. Why do you always bring up Y/N?" I asked, trying to hold back my anger.

"Dahyun," Jae Bum said sternly.

I stopped and looked down.

"I see. I was not wrong about you two," the blind turtle said. "Let's go now."

He swam up and past us. We looked at each other and then followed. 

Yugyeom's P.O.V

Y/N has been distant since the quest started. I kept telling myself it was just the whole trial that's making her tired but I'm sure there's something on her mind she won't tell me about. She's so stubborn sometimes. 

"Y/N are you sure there's not something you want me to help you with?"

She hesitated and the shook her head. I decided not to ask her anymore. We got to the front of the palace but just before we asked for the gates to be drawn, Dahyun showed up behind us. She was with Jae Bum and the blind sea turtle. 

"Dahyun..." Y/N said softly.

"Open the gates!" Dahyun demanded. 

She didn't even bother to look at us.

"Jae Bum is that you?" I asked. 

"I see there's a lot more to the story than we all know," Jae Bum replied.

We swam inside the palace and into the grand room all together.

"Dahyun! You're safe!" screamed the Second Queen.

She didn't even make eye contact with her own mother.

"I see you all have come," said the King. "Come now. Show me the items."

Y/N and Dahyun both took out the two items.

"How is this possible?" asked the Second Queen.

"Your highness," said the First Queen who was also shocked.

"Xion, have they both fulfilled your requests?"

"That is yet to be determined," he replied.
