Loud noises from thunders. Lightning covered the dim sky and waves from the ocean crashed harshly onto the lands. The blue ocean turned black and chased after me. With my legs, I tried to outrun the fast waves that were flowing quickly after me. I wasn't fast enough. I slipped on the light sanded ground and on my knees I turned around to face the ocean that wanted to engulf me. As it swallowed me whole, my lungs were starting to fill up with the salted waters. I could no longer swim. I could no longer breath in the place I was called home. I fought and fought to get air. I kicked and waddled my arms but it was useless. The pain from the coarse water was enveloping my insides. I was afraid.
"Miss Y/N!"
I woke up and sat up on the bed. My face was covered in sweat as I continuously tried to gasp for air.
"Are you okay??" asked Carlotta, worried.
I scrunched my face muscles together and held into my head. It was thumping, my head was crying. Carlotta slowly helped me lay back down.
"I'm afraid you might be ill Miss Y/N. Are you sure you're okay?" she asked.
"Y-yes I am. Don't worry about me. It's just a small headache," I replied, trying to reassure her.
"Here is your porridge. Tell me if you would like anything else," she said.
I smiled and took the food from her. After standing there for a while to make sure I was fine, she finally felt okay to leave my side.
This wasn't the first time I had that nightmare but I haven't told anyone. Maybe I've been human too long. This body has to regain it's tail soon. After eating, I got dressed by the maids and left to find Jimin. I needed to figure out his wish as soon as possible if I want to get better from this sickness.
"Hello, is Prince Jimin available at the moment?" I asked the guards at his door.
They didn't move or acknowledge me. I waved my hands in front of their faces and still nothing.
"Tch. Fine then," I said under my breath.
I walked around the castle lifelessly like I usually do. It's been days of nothing ever since the ball. Jimin was always too busy. I went back to the garden where Jimin gave me the flower and roamed around. I heard the sound of a flute and instinctively followed it. There he was, in a simple white shirt, playing the flute that he had once played when we were younger. It was still as sweet as the first time I heard it but it was still as lonely. He paused and looked up into the sky, passed the cherry blossoms and above the clouds.
"How long do you plan to stand there?" he asked.
"Oh you knew," I walked over there with my hands behind my back.
"What?" he asked.
"You play beautifully. Keep playing," I said with a smile.
"Hmmm...no," he said teasingly.
"Tch. Here, for you," I said as I handed him a blue flower.
"A Himalayan blue poppy huh," he said as he took it from me.
"It reminded me of you. I heard about it from Carlotta. This flower is a known as a garden treasure. It's also very temperamental like you. It's difficult but beautiful," I said.
"You have too much time on your hands."
"And you have none," I replied.
He chuckled lifelessly.
"Have you figured it out yet?" I asked.
"You can't give me what I want," he said.
"Try me. Just say it."
