"I'm going to have to go, I don't usually come to meetings. I support them but I'm not involved in it. I'll wait for you downstairs" my sister whispered in my ear and rushed off. We had just seated and were just chatting amongst ourselves. I had already started to form firm friendships with Courferyac and Grantaire.

"Right everyone, as you all know, General LaMarque is fading fast. We need to start planning for what's going to happen after he's gone" Enjolras' voice rang clearly, instantly silencing us all.

"We need a good time to start this" Feuilly declared

"How about when they announce his death?"Combeferre offered but Enjolras shook his head firmly.

"They will be expecting that. We need to draw the people in first."

"What about a rally?" I said softly. I was nervous to give my idea. They probably wouldn't take me seriously anyway, especially him.

"Anyone else?" He asked

"That's actually a good idea E. Give her a chance" Jehan said fairly. I felt uncomfortable. I no longer had that surge of confidence that I did before. The more time I spent in his presence, the lesser I was beginning to feel.

"Fine whatever" he moaned. He gave up quickly... maybe he didn't think my idea was that bad after all.

"We can do the rally the day after tomorrow. It will give us a chance to get everything ready" Marius said and the chorus agreed.

I say, me and Lissy do leaflets" Courf said.

"Yeah I need all the help with planning this. Feuilly and Jehan you can write some speeches" Enjolras said and we all agreed.

"So it's settled. Tomorrow, we get to work and Friday, we rally the people." He declared and we cheered.

Everyone then began to get up from their chairs and leave the room, one by one.

"Is the meeting over?" I asked Grantaire.

"For today, yeah" he replied. "See you tomorrow."

"Bye!"

I was the last person to leave the room, besides Enjolras, who hadn't moved from his seat and was transfixed to the wad of papers.

"See you tomorrow... Enji" I spluttered, running out of the room.

I saw Éponine sitting with Marius on one of the tables in the corner. He looked like he was drinking alcohol but she just sat there with a glass of water. She caught my eye as I walked over.

"Hiya!"

"Éponine, why didn't you tell me Gavroche was here?" I hissed.

"Well I didn't think it was that big of a deal!"

"He doesn't even know he has another sister, I told you not to tell him!" I said, sitting down. I thought that he would feel guilty if he realised that I exsisted. He would try and come back for me, if he's anything like what Éponine told me. I couldn't risk him getting injured, not for my mere life. Even if I told him now, he would be angry that we didn't tell him before. He's better off without knowing about me.

"Can you please just keep this a secret, between all the boys. I'm guessing they already knew because of surnames and everything." I said and they agreed.

"Um, Lissy, can you give me and Marius a moment please" my sister asked and I smirked, dragging the chair back and I walked away. I gave my sister an over exaggerated wink.

"Oi, Felicité! Over here" Madame Hucheloup called and I made my way over. "Well how did it go?" She urged, pointing to one of the bar stools in front of her, which I sat on.

"Well I'm in! The boys are lovely, except Enjolras" I laughed and she did too.

"Yes, that boy takes some warming. Give him a chance, he's not as bad as you think. He's a big softy really!" She exclaimed. Him? Soft?!

"Yeah maybe... I love how brave they all are though."

"Well you're just as brave now! I admire your strength. You really showed him that girls aren't that bad" she said and my cheeks reddened

"And do you know what, I don't think she hates you as much as you think. I've known him since he started coming here, he was about 10. Little Enjolras lived with his parents for a while until they decided to move across the country to the opal coast. He had known of nothing but Paris and didn't want to leave unlike his brother and sister so he stayed with his aunt and uncle although they didn't give a damn about him. Left home at 12. He's gotten used to me mothering him. I'm glad someone like you has come along and shown him that he can't always be moody." She added. What she was saying hit me in the heart. He had a bad childhood just like me. Despite the brave front he put up, behind that he was still a human. Maybe he needed a friend.

"Is he still up there? I'd like to talk to him" I asked after a moment of thinking.

"He doesn't leave until closing dear. Go on up!" She said and I jumped off the stool, due to my tiny size of 5 ft 2.

I slowly made my way to the staircase, forcing myself to be strong enough to face him for the second time today, except this time I would be alone. I looked to my new friend who gave me a thumbs up. I groaned, making my way upstairs.
