Louis POV
I parked the car outside the house and repaired myself for the torture of going in. Mum wasn't going to be to happy and when Lottie heard about she'd laugh in my face and call my crazy, the twins wouldn't understand and Fizzy would say it was part of a love story that would last the ages.
I grabbed my bag and opened my car door, carefully clinging out as not to make myself wince. The bruise that Ethan had mentioned earlier was fine until he repeatedly punched me.
I slammed my door shut and walked up the front path to the front door. I turned the knob and walked inside. "Mum!" I called.
She works weird schedules. Most of the time she works Monday through Friday but every once I awhile they call her in on weekends for extra hands. Than they allow her a day off the next week.
It's strange but I learned to get used to it, especially since most of the time I had never been around to notice.
"Yes Louis?" she walked out of the kitchen, a glass of what was probably water, in her hand.
I took my shoes off and set them next to the door. "I was wondering if you and the girls would like to go to Jessicas tonight to have some cake and get to meet her family."
She raised an eyebrow at me as I started to walk toward the kitchen, tossing my bag into the living room as I walked by.
She followed behind me. I went in and opened up fridge and pulled out a bottle of water and cracked it open.
"So things must be getting serious than." she stated as she took a sit from her glass, her gaze never once leaving mine.
I shook my head. "It was just that we've met the other family but the family hasn't met one another so we thought if we were friends than our families should know one another." I replied. I gulped down about half of m water bottle while my mum hair spots there looking at me with an unconvinced expression.
"If that's what you think." she mumbled as she shook her head. She walks around me and set her glass in the sink. "I'll ask the girls if they would like to go. Fizzy and the twins should be fine but Lottie will be a little but harder to convince."
I smiled. "Thanks mum!" I quickly wrapped her up into a bear hug. She laughed and shook her head.
"But you have to make sure you can get off work a little but early so you can get ready. I don't want you showing up in your uniform."
I nodded and pulled back, saluting her. "Yes ma'm."
She rolled her eyes at me and shook her head. "I wonder how I've dealt with you all these years." she said as she playfully hit my chest.
I put my hands over my heart and made my mouth drop open. "Hurtful." I whined.
She laughed and shook her head. "Let Jessica know about our plan and tell her well fill her in on what the girls say and such."
I nodded. "Got it."
I opened the freezer and pulled out an ice pack and shut the door. She gave me a weird look but I just shook my head. "The fight?" she asked.
I nodded. She sighed and looked down at her feet for a moment and finally looking back up at me. She nodded, it was her way of telling me 'Leave if you don't want to be questioned right this second.'
I walked out of the kitchen and headed back to the living room, water bottle in hand. I went in and grabbed hold of my backpack strap and threw it on the couch.
I walked over and set my water bottle down before I dramatically fell back into the couch. I heard my phone go off and I groaned, sitting up I than shuffled through my back pack.
