Jessicas POV

My feet felt relief the second they touched the cool water and flowed between my toes as I stood at the waters edge. It was just amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better day.

The water was glistening like diamond were placed all over the surface. The sun was out and about with no clouds at all in the sky to block the view so it would stay nice and bright.

The sand was warm, the atmosphere was lively and it was just a beautiful day when you put it all together.

And best of all. I was here with Louis, and his family and my sister. We were all together and Louis and I are dating. So again I couldn't have asked for better day.

But, any day with Louis, even if it was hailing out of thundering or lightning, it would still be great just to be beside him.

I continued to run through the water and when I was waist high I was about to dive through the surface when hands gripped my waist. I let out a squeal as I was brought back again someone's chest.

"Louis." I whined. he always played tricks on me. "Knock it off!" I turned around and hit his chest playfully to see if wasn't him. I looked up and saw it was Tyler.

I backed away from him. His hands slid off my waist. "Its alright, I just came here to warn you."

"And why would you do that?" I hissed. I looked out towards the beach and saw Louis was waving his family over, that's why he was taking so long.

"Because I don't agree with what Ethan is doing. I don't agree with what he wants." He had followed my gaze and was looking towards Louis and his family but turned back to meet my angry gaze.

"What do you not agree with?" I asked quietly, trying to keep my anger under control and keep it from bubbling to the surface in a put of fiery and stormy rage.

"All of it, it's just I never had a choice. But at the beginning I didn't care but when I saw how happy it made you, I didn't want to ruin that cause I ruined it. I didn't want to ruin it again." he said quietly. I took a small and hesitant step back. "Don't be scared. I'm not going to hurt you or try to take you away from him. I see how much you love him." he replied as he looked back over at Louis.

I looked to see he was getting everyones stuff set up and was straightening the stuff that we had a tossed aside. He set both of our things off to the side a bit so we had our own small space to talk and laugh. I smiled.

"See. That's what I mean." The smile vanished from my face as I turned back to Tyler. "I still like you Jess but I won't ruin your relationship with Louis. It's defiantly not as strong as what you have here. But Ethan doesn't care. But he also doesn't love you either. He just wants to use you."

"What exactly do you mean?" I asked.

He sighed. "I mean the ones you don't know about are the ones you should be scared of. What Chery told you about being beaten and abused by him, it was all secret so no one knew, he uses girls but not from our school so than no one will know. Those are the kinds of people you have to look out for."

I nodded. "Alright. But why are you telling me all those now."

He looked down at the surface of the water as he rubbed his thumb and the tips of his fingers together. "I'm telling you now because he's angry. Chery told her family what he did to her and has scars to prove it. Some blood was spilled in her house and it was hers so the remnants are still there and can be used as evidence in a case against him. So in other words she's taking him to court under the assault and battery charge."

"So he might get locked up?" I asked. I was hopeful. More hopeful than ever. The person I've come to be afraid of might actually be out somewhere where they can't hurt me or other people.
