I began my walk down the quiet and boring street. My black and blue flip flops continuously threatening to slide off my feet.

My toes all nice and polished with blue glitter polish and went with the color of the flip flops.

"Jess!" Lindsey whined. I had just picked my sister up from the bus stop. Since it was before vacation I hadn't been home yet because I walked with my friends to a small cafe and had some lunch. Now I just couldn't wait to get home.

I spun around. "What Lindsey?" I hissed through my gritted teeth. As you can tell, for me, today was a long, long day. I was stuck listening to Chery complain about how she wasn't getting enough attention all day long.

She raised her hands into the air. "Can you carry me?" For an eight year old she defiantly has some weird mood changes. Sometimes she acts like she's a five year old and other times she'll act like she's older, probably learned it from me.

I sighed and unwillingly trudged over to her. I turned my back to her and kneeled down. She gleefully jumped up onto my back as i monitor a little 'oomf'. I stood up and once again started my walk down the street.

Both my hands held tightly to her legs that were at my sides and her arms began to wrap tighter around my neck.

I felt the oxygen begin to leave my lungs. "Can't breathe." I muttered with all the breathe I had left.

She loosened her grip a bit as I continued my long ass walk down the street. I let out a sigh of relief, seeing and feeling that I could finally breath again.

"I don't get payed enough for this." I mumbled. It's not that I hate my little sister, I actually love her to death. It's hair like I said before, today absolutely and completely sucked.

When we finally got back to the house I gently dropped Lindsey down on the front porch and gave her a small nudge. She stepped back as I stood up and swung my bag down from my shoulder and in front of me. I opened my front most pocket and removed my key.

I placed it in the lock and quickly turned it and kicked the door open. I tossed my back pack in the doorway and turned around and tossed Lindsey over my shoulder before walking into the house. I grabbed the key from the lock before kicking the door shut behind me and made my way to the living room. I threw her on the couch and began to torture her.

For little kids it's 'tickle to death.'

Her loud laughter filled the air as she tried to move away from me and drastically kicked her legs around. "Please.... No..... Please.... stop..." she said through gasps of air and sounding out of breathe.

I stopped at sat on the couch beside her. I moved slightly to the side and slid my phone out from my back picked. I quickly typed in the pass code and and began to scroll through twitter, seeing what's up with Cody Simpson and Austin Mahone and such.

Nothing new, same old same old with the fans and with the stars. Most of the ones I looked at never sent out another tweet.

I closed the app and lied back on the couch. It's was only 12. we had gotten out of school early since it was before spring break we had a half day.

Lindsey got off the couch and ran around while I, already giving her the rules millions of time, trusted her and decided to roll over and take a nap. "Lindsey you know the rules right?" I yelled.

"Yes Jessica! I'm not five anymore! I can handle myself!" She replied sternly. I smiled as I closed my eyes.

*******

I woke up to the sound if a loud and shrill ear piercing scream. I bolted upright and looked around, frantically to see where it was coming from. But only one thought of what or who it might be came to mind.
