Last Words and New Beginnings

Whatever .

Damn .

Last night was a long night . I couldn't sleep . Not knowing that Sam didn't believe me . Not knowing if I even believe me . I really wish life was simpler .

I get up , together myself , and walk downstairs . Sam's still on the couch .

I walk into the kitchen and grab a water bottle .

"Audrey ?" Sam says turning over to look at the kitchen

"Hmm?" I say .

"Are you still mad at me ?"

"Do you still not believe me ?"

He just shakes his head and turns back around clearly stating he doesn't believe me .

Whatever .

I slam the fridge closed and grab my purse .

This was not a fight I was sticking around for .

I haven't quite decided what I wanted to do yet today .. I don't know if I'm ready to see Jason or not . Not after all that happened the other day .

I mentally make a list of things I could do today ..

Go downtown

Go to bries

Go back home

As I walk along the street of downtown London , I spot a bookstore . I haven't read a good book in a while . So I decide to go there .

As I walk in the store the little bell that hangs from the top of the door jingles .

"Hello !" the Chinese lady says .

"Hi"

I skim the different racks of books .. Not very pleased with the small variety of books they offer here . I spot one .

The title reads

"What is Reincarnation ? by : Justice Adam "

I don't even have to think twice about buying this book .

I walk it up to the cashier and pay the $24.58 .

I can't believe I just found this book .

I'm gonna start reading it today . But I'm not going home to deal with Sam's smartass right now . I'll just go to lunch and read it .

Good idea Audrey . I think to myself .

I pull into Subway , order my sub , and find a table to myself . I pull my book out of my purse , and crack open the pages that will change my life .. Again .
