Grayson's Point of View
I walked into school and saw the posters, they were everywhere on the wall, doors, in people's hands, and all over the lockers. The queen of the school, Alison Sanders had died and her bratty friends were making sure everyone knew. I went to my locker and grabbed my books. I ripped the poster off my locker and threw it in the trash. It felt like her friends were making a mockery of Alison. I didn't really care enough to say anything, but still I wasn't going to let it stay on my locker. I went to my homeroom where I found Gavin outside the room.
"Did you hear the news?" he asked shoving my shoulder. "Grayson actually showed up on time."
"Shut up Gav," I said rolling my eyes. We joked around for a bit and talked with some of the other guys waiting for class to start.
When the teacher walked in, we all followed and sat down. The room got uncomfortably quiet when it dawned on all of us why the front row had an empty seat.
"Did you hear about Alison?" Gavin whispered.
"How could I not? The posters are everywhere," I said rolling my eyes.
"Isn't weird no one knows what happened?" he asked.
"I heard she died in a car crash because she was completely wasted," one of our friend's whispered.
"I heard she killed herself."
"No dude, I heard she was held at ransom and her parents couldn't pay the amount. The price must have been pretty hefty, you know the Sanders are rich as hell."
"They all sound a little far-fetched," I pointed out.
"But isn't it weird the family won't say what happened?" Gavin said.
I shrugged. "Ali probably wanted it that way. She loved the attention, now no one will ever stop talking about her."
"I will miss partying with her, she may have been a bitch, but she was crazy fun to party with," one of my friend's said.
"She may have been a bitch, but I still feel bad for her-" Gavin started to say before he was cut off by a shriek.
"Gray-Gray, oh my god it's so sad about Alison,"Alison's second-in-command, Macy said dramatically, as she wrapped her arms around me.
"Uh yeah," I said half-heartedly.
"Just know I am here for you," she said with fake sincerity. I wondered if people fell for her crap.
By the time Macy had left for her seat, Gavin could barely contain his laughter. His blue eyes were glistening with tears of joy.
"Gray-Gray hold me," he said, trying to imitate Macy.
"Shut up dude," I said as I knocked the hat off his head, he quickly put his hand over his brown hair and took back his baseball cap.
"Dang, give a guy green eyes and blonde hair and all the girls go crazy," he said fixing his hair.
"Shut up," I said with a smile. Macy may have been fake as hell but she was really hot and was great in bed.
Suddenly the door opened and immediately the room went completely silent as the girl walked in without a word and sat down in the back seat. I hadn't even realized someone was absent.
Everyone looked at each other as if they were unsure what to do, no one said a word until the teacher finally cleared his throat and stood up. "You're five minutes late," he said to the girl but once he saw the death glare she was giving him, he immediately sat back down.
