Part 11

I was happy I could take a shower. I actually felt kinda dirty. They was still some dirt on me from falling. After I took that shower, the nurse came back to take a look at the wounds but they were fine. The rest of the day, I just slept. I was exhausted. That night, the boys came over again together with Olly and Caterina. We spent the whole evening in Sarah’s room. Even though it hurted when she was laughing, at least she was laughing again. At a point, she grabbed my hand and she hold it the entire night. “Thank you.” she suddenly whispered. My answer was to give a soft kiss on her hand.

I have to face it, I am falling in love with Sarah. She is just so cute and... perfect.

 Everyone left when visiting hour was over, but I just stayed a little bit longer. “You can sit on the bed if you want to.” she smiled and tapped on the bed. “Erm... yeah.” I smiled and sat down. “Are you having pain?” “Not really, only when I move.” she answered. Eventually I just laid next to her on the bed, there was place enough. We were lying so close to each other...

 She was looking straight into my eyes and now, I realised what blue eyes she actually has. I got closer to her, our lips almost touching but then... the door flew open and a male nurse came in.  I immediately got up again. “Ow.. sorry.. I didn’t mean to interrupt something...” he stuttered. You could see he was a little bit embarrassed. “Erm.. it’s fine. I have to... Erm I have to go back to my room. You erm... you need to rest.” I could barely speak anymore.

 “I’ll see you in the morning.” I smiled and gave her a kiss on her forehead. “Yeah sure.” she smiled. One last thing before I left, I whispered ‘I love you’ in her ear. I could see on the look on her face she didn’t expect this at all. I left her kinda speechless. When I was back in my room, I got a message on my phone. ’I love you too’ was in it.
