I've been meaning to do this POV for a while now haha...
~Hisoka's POV~
I made my way to the elevator and pushed the button. While waiting, I noticed Gon running down the hall. He slowed down and stopped in front of me without making eye contact. I looked at him in a peculiar way as I tried to get his attention by spreading my aura enough so that he'll sense it.
I stared at him for a moment and nothing happened. What? Why isn't this working? "Gon," I said trying to grab his attention. Nothing. "Gon," Nothing. "Gon. Gon. Gon. Gon. Gon--"
"Huh?" Gon turned to look up at me with a startled reaction. "H-Hisoka?!"
Did he really not notice me? I'm disappointed. Why didn't he give me the attention I deserve from him? I knew I should've dated Illumi, goddammit. But Gon. But GON.
(can you freaking believe I went from writing an extremely detailed chapter about a girl losing her mind and trying to kill the one she loves to a chapter about a clown wanting to date a 13 (he should be 12 or 13 rn idk what month it is) year old and craving attention i need help)
"Hisoka, how long have you been there?" Gon asked, realizing that he should keep his guard up.
The elevator opened with a ding and I stepped inside. I stood inside and looked at Gon, who hadn't moved from his spot. "Well, aren't you going to come inside?"
Gon hesitated for a short moment then stepped inside the elevator. The door closed with the same familiar ding as it started to move. I pushed the button of my floor. Gon didn't do anything but stare down at the floor. "Hisoka, can I ask you for a favour?"
"Favour?" I repeated curiously. The children were never the type to ask me of things. Plus, why ask me? There's his coach or teacher or whatever he is with the untucked shirt. He could've literally gone to someone he knows he can trust, so why the hell would he ask me? This raised my suspicion, so I might as well get something out of it. "What is it that I'll do for you?"
"It's Ayano," Gon said. "Something's wrong with her. Almost like she's a completely different person. I think she's going to kill Killua."
"And what do you want me to do about it? I've already gotten a delicious fight from her; what more can I get?" I asked him. Gon sighed and looked up at me. "I'm sure you know what I want."
"If I do that for you, will you protect Killua and stop Ayano?"
It's good that he realized this is a bargain, but it wasn't too clear if he realized that this was also a risky gamble. He's clearly aware of what I can do and he should know that I can take advantage of the situation, but he's willing to trust me. He never fails to surprise me. I smirked at how this will go if I accept.
"So?" Gon said impatiently. "The floor you're going to. Ayano and Killua are there right now. Something bad might happen to both of them."
"But you know what I want, right?" I said to clarify. "Back in the Hunter Exams,"
"Yes, back in the Hunter Exams, when it just started. You threw a card at Ayano."
"Queen of Hearts." I said. "That's her future card if you were do read her."
"Read her?"
"Tarot cards. Queen of Hearts or Queen of Cups, according to the tarot deck." It was a long way up to the floor. "In her future, she'll be compassionate and caring. She'll be emotionally stable. But her present card was what I was questioning about. That's why I needed to fight her before she reached the next card."
"Tarot card, huh." Gon said. "How do you know what her cards were?"
"When I first saw her at the Hunter Exam, I stood beside her and felt like she was at the verge of becoming Queen of Hearts. I needed to fight her while she was still at this stage."
"And what stage was that?"
"Queen of Spades or Queen of Swords." I said. Gon looked confused, which wasn't surprising. I must've lost him. Dammit, I was on a roll here. "Her emotional status isn't stable. She's been repressing too many emotions, which affected her body. This created the Floral Angel."
"What...?" Gon said. "I don't understand."
I sighed. "Her past card made her what she is today."
"And that is...?" I will lose Gon again if I tell him what her past cards is, but he has a good memory, but I'll tell him anyway so Killua can explain.
"Queen of Diamonds or Queen of Pentacles."
"AH! Why are they all Queen cards!?" Gon said in frustration.
"She's been looking for a good motherly image every since her parents were murdered." I said ignoring Gon. "Killua, he murdered them, right?"
"Y-yeah, how do you know that?"
"I have a friend that knew about Ayano's abilities." I said. "Okay, back to business," Gon straightened his posture. "Will you guarantee me that Floral Angel will be under full control?"
"I-I can't do that," Gon said nervously. "You see, that's up to what happens. Your cards say that Ayano will be emotionally stable, but she already created Floral Angel, so I don't know if she'll kill her off or put her under control."
"She can't kill it off." I said. "But I'm only willing to help if Ayano has a change to control it."
"Th-Then..." Gon said. "she'll control it. I promise."
The elevator stopped and opened. Right when doors slid for us to enter, an overwhelming feeling of bloodlust and a powerful aura was blasting its way right towards us.
"What--" Gon quickly rolled onto the floor across the hall. He managed to get up, but I could tell he was terrified.
I calmly walked to the middle of the hallway and turned to looks where it was coming from.
"Ayano and Killua!" Gon tried to get up again, but he looked restricted.
I extended my arm and allowed a single card to slide down. Queen of Hearts. I took a step forwards and saw Ayano standing up, dragging her arms heavily behind her. Her eyes were completely black and her skin, hair and clothes were stained with dried blood. She took a step towards the body in front of her. Killua. He was on the ground, trying to get up. There was a deep and heavy cut on his forearm and he was lying in a pool of blood. More and more blood was flowing out of his arm, staining his silvery, white hair and pale skin with a deep, thick red liquid. Ayano said something, but her aura was too strong to hear and I was too far away to hear it clearly. I retracted my arm across my body and kept walking forward. I eventually stood right behind where Killua was lying and held out a card.
I noticed that Killua had tried to get up. "Don't bother," I said. His breathing was irregular and there was too much blood flowing out of him. I looked straight at Ayano. Her arm was in the air holding a kitchen knife. Her hand was filled with splinters and blood was trickling down her arm, but it wasn't anything to worry about, unlike Killua's state. He can fight better than this. I thought to myself. What's wrong with him? "Don't worry too much. I'll just knock her out. She's even more intriguing than I initially thought." I told him as he blacked out.
I threw the card quickly at the knife. It wasn't enough for her to leg go of it, but enough me to grab her attention. "Stay out of this." Her voice was different.
I licked my lips and smirked. "Juicy," I said and used my Bungee Gum to hold down her arms and hit the back of her head hard enough to make sure I didn't crack her neck or her skull but enough to knock her out.
Wow guys that was fun. I was dying to write Hisoka kind of like fighting Ayano going like "yummy" and then "o shit i got a boner" but that was too much LMAOO so i stuck to "juicy" haha come on, i'm not the only one attracted to a psycho clown lets be real. What is wrong with me...
