"You all better start teaching, because we are here to work." Ellis says, smirking.

"Okay, Residents, welcome to Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital." Derek says.

Piper's POV
"So how long did it take you to realize that you wanted to move back?" my dad asks. "Well, they stopped doing the program at the old hospital, and Ellis and I were thinking of coming back here anyway." I respond.

"Your mom has missed you, and so ha-" before he can finish he is cut off. "Piper! Your back!" I hear Carter scream. "Carter!" I yell back. I open my arms, and he runs up and hugs me. "How is your internship?" I ask him.

"Good, at least this far" he says, smiling. "Okay, little bro, I gotta get back to work, see you at lunch?" I ask. "Yeah, see you at lunch!" he says, smiling.

"He has always been the bubbly one, so full of joy" I say, smiling. "Yeah, I blame your mother for that one" he says, smiling. We continue on walking, until we reach the ER. "Okay, so there is an incoming call, apartment fire." he says.

"Suit up!" he says, already running out to the ambulance bay. I quickly run up to the trauma station, and get ready.

After I get the gloves on, I run out too. I see Derek, dad, Ellis, mom, Owen, Christina, Meredith, Bailey, Jackson, Arizona, Callie, and Alex. "This is a big one, apartment complex started on fire, multiple traumas, and these are probably not going to be the only ones being brought in" Bailey yells at us.

"Okay, first day, and already this?" Ellis says, adjusting her gloves. Before I can respond, three ambulances are already pulling in. The first ambulance gets out with what looks like a little girl. "Abby Tulio, age 7, burns to torso, and possible brain bleed." the first responder says.

"Sloan, Little Grey, Karev, and Grey this is yours!" Bailey says. Even though my mom is older now, she is still called Little Grey. "Okay, come on girls!" Lexie says, as we are running to the Trauma room.

Lexie and Ellis take their spots by the head, while dad and I take the chest. "Okay, we have severe burns to the stomach" he yells. "Okay, there is a possible brain bleed, anyway we can get her to MRI. "Looks like possible bleeding near the heart, we need Yang in here!" Alex says.

"Okay, I got her" Meredith says, running back out. Not even 10 seconds later, Meredith and Christina appear. "Okay, what do we got?" Christina asks. "Possible bleed by the heart" Alex says. Christina moves to her position. "Definitely, we need to get her to an OR stat." she says.

"Okay, take her to MRI, Ellis and Piper run down and make sure there is an OR ready for us. "Got it" Ellis and I say, running out. We both start zigzagging around all the people in the ER, and make our way to the elevators. "

"Not even our first day and we already have a big disaster" Ellis says. "Yeah, but I can't help to feel bad for all these families" I say. "Well lets help them by saving their loved ones lives" Ellis says. We run out of the elevator, and to the OR's. "We need an OR prepped and ready." I say.

"Okay, OR 2 is prepped and ready" The nurse standing at the desk says. "Thank you!" we yell, and start running to the MRI.

We get there, and open the door. "OR 2, prepped and ready!" I say. "Good, thank you two." Meredith says.

"Okay, there is a definite brain bleed here." mom says. "Let's get this rolling then!" Alex yells.

This is going to be a long day.
