I get a piece of paper and scribble down that we are going on a walk somewhere.

He holds out his hand and we walk out the door.

Ellis's POV

I wake up in Daniel's arms. I quickly get up too see if Piper is still here too. The place that once held her and Noah is empty, and I see a note setting on the end table, and I reach out for it.

'Going for a walk w/ Noah, I don't know when I will be back.' it reads.

I look over and see Daniel rubbing his eyes.

"Morning sleepyhead" I tease him.

"Morning" he smiles back.

"I am guessing there is coffee made because Noah and Piper have already left somewhere" I say.

"Sure" He says.

We walk into the kitchen and see the freshly brewed coffee.

"How do you like your coffee?" I ask him.

"Nothing, just plain coffee." he responds.

"Really" I say, scrunching up my nose.

"It's not that bad" he smiles.

"I will stick to my tea" I say.

He smiles at me, and sits down at the kitchen table. I continue on making my tea, and I hand Daniel his coffee. After I finish adding my ingredients, I go over and sit by Daniel.

"You're beautiful" he whispers.

"Thank you" I say, my face probably turning a shade of red.

"About last night" he says.

I sigh and respond, "yes".

"I just wanted to let you know that I will protect you. I love you so much and the guy who did that to you is not going to hurt you. I love you, with all my heart. No one is ever gonna hurt you, not while I am around." he says, putting his hand on my cheek.

I have tears rolling down my face. He gently takes his hand and wipes them away.

"Can you stay again tonight? To be completely honest, that is the first time in a long time that I have actually gotten a good night sleep." I mumble as I lean my head against his hand.

"Whatever you need, I am gonna be there for you" he responds, coming close to me and kissing me.

"You told me you loved me" I smile.

"Yeah, I did." he says, taking his hand away and rubbing the back of his neck.

"Good, because I love you too" I say.

A smile spreads on his face, and I know that I too, have a huge smile.
