"We will make it through this." I say, grabbing her hand.

She just gives me a little smile, and we start to the hospital.

Piper's POV

We pull into the hospital parking lot, and nobody has really said anything. 

"We are going straight into the ER." my dad says.

I just nod my head as we start for the ER. We walk in but I can't hear anything due to the ringing in my ears. 

"What the hell, Derek?" I hear Meredith yell running up to us. 

"Long story, we need gurneys right now!" My dad yells. 

Before I know it I am on a gurney and being rolled into a room.

"Don't worry, everything is going to be okay." my mom says, taking my hand into hers.

"Mom?" I ask. 

"Yes. I am right here." she responds, putting her hands through my hair.

"What's going on?" I ask, looking at all the doctors crowded around me.

"Calm down, don't get panicked." she says, comforting me. 

"Noah, where is Noah?" I ask, looking around the room.

"I am right here." he says from the corner of the room.

I lay my head back, and I try to calm down. Everything starts to process, and I can feel myself getting panicked. 

"Piper, we need you to calm down." my dad says.

"I-I am try-ying." I stutter out.

I feel someone slip their hand into mine and I know right away who it is.

"Its going to be okay." Noah whispers into my ear.

I start to calm down. The doctors then take that to their advantage, getting what they need to be done, done.

"She is just going to need to stay in the hospital for a day or two to make sure that this doesn't turn into something serious. And even after she leaves people need to make sure she doesn't strain herself. I would recommend her going and talking to someone." the doctor tells my parents.

I block out their conversation and just stare at Noah who is staring at me. 

"I love you." he says.

"I love you too." I respond, nuzzling my head into his arm.

I must have fallen asleep because when I wake its dark outside, and everyone around me is sleeping. I see that my dad, mom, and Noah are in the room.

I start to move, which wakes up Noah.

"Hey." he says, wiping his eyes.

"Hey, where's, well how's Ellis?" I ask.

"She is a couple rooms down. Her parents and Daniel are with her.

"I want to see her, can you take me." I ask.

"Piper.." he starts.

"Please, I need to talk to her." I say.

"Fine, but let me help you." he says, helping me up.

We start walking to her room.

"I want to through this stupid thing." I say, pointing to the IV stand.

He chuckles, and we make it to the doorway of Ellis's room. We look inside and I see that everyone is sleeping, beside Ellis. Even though it is dark, I can see her face light up when she sees me.

"Piper." she says, once I sit down next to her.

"Ellis, how do you feel?" I ask, taking her hand.

"Sore, but I feel scared too. I thought we had seen the last of them, but they still find someway to make our lives a living hell." she says. 

"I know, and it sucks." I respond.

"We can't let them effect us. Let what they did, we cannot show them that we fear them. Deep down inside we might, but that only feeds into their rage for us." I say.

"I know, but it is hard. I find myself jumping at the slightest noises. And I can't even look my parents in the eye without feeling disappointed in myself." she whispers.

"I get the feeling." I respond, looking down.

"You don't have to feel ashamed." Noah says.

"He's right." Daniel responds.

I didn't even know that they where here, well at least I thought Daniel was sleeping.

"I will protect you, and I will to the best of my ability make sure you are safe." Daniel says.

Noah nods his head, agreeing with what he said. 

I get out of my chair and hug Noah.

"Thank you so much." I say, still hugging him.

"You don't need to thank me. I love you and I would have found you either way." he says, putting is hand on my cheek.

I lean into his hand, and close my eyes, feeling fully safe.
