Previously on, Slexie - The Next Generation

We all get to our places, ready to start the surgery.

"Okay everyone, it's a beautiful day to save lives" Derek says, and we all begin to work.

Piper's POV

"I am going to say one thing, and I am going to say it now. We rocked that surgery" Ellis states as we are scrubbing out.

I laugh at her remark and then dry my hands with the towels. We start heading out the door, but someone stops us.

"Great surgery girls, you did really well." Derek says, washing his hands.

"Thanks" we both say at the same time.
He nods his head, and we head out of the scrub room.

"I am so tired but we still have like 7 hours left" Ellis says, stretching.

"Me too" I respond, letting out a yawn.

Before we can say anything else, Noah comes up from behind me, grabbing my waist.

"You rocked that surgery" He says, smiling at me.

"Thanks, you did pretty good yourself" I respond, giving him a smile back.

"So, I was wondering if we could go out tonight?" He asks me.

"Sure" I respond back.

He looks a little shocked, probably because I didn't put up a fight saying yes like I usually do.

"Okay, meet me by your locker after shift?" he says.

"Okay" I respond, then start walking up towards Ellis and grabbing a chart.

"Ooo someone has a date tonight" she says, elbowing me.

"Yeah, I kinda figured I need to let someone else in. I have always been antsy with guys since- well you know" I say, putting the chart back into it's proper place.

"I get it, and me and Daniel are actually suppose to be going out sometime soon to-" before she can say anything else her pager starts to ring.

"Speak of the devil, I have to get he is paging me." she says walking off.

"Use protection!" I yell out.

"Shut up!" she says, laughing.

I chuckle to myself and continue filling out whatever charts that need be.

"You have a goodnight to Mr. Elly." I say, putting his chart back in the proper place.

I start walking up to my locker, when Ellis comes running out of the elevator.

"What's up with you?" I ask.

"I have been looking everywhere for you" she replies, trying to catch her breath.

"Why didn't you just page me?" I question.

"That probably would have been the smart thing to do. But nevermind that. Daniel wants to go out again, and I am kinda freaked out." she says, as we continue walking down the halls.

"You said he was a good guy, why are you getting second thoughts?" I ask her as we walk into the lounge.

"It's not him. It's me. I understand what your going through but I don't think I am ready to open up my steel doors and let anyone in yet." she says.

I stop what I am doing and turn around to face her.
"Take a seat" I say as we both sit on the couch in the lounge.

"You and me and have through WAY too much stuff together. But that is what also keeps us together. We are gonna get hurt by guys, that's just apart of life. But he is a good guy. He is going to protect you." I say.

"We need to tell them don't we." she asks, looking down at her feet.

"It would be the best thing to do, yes" I respond.

I grab her hand, and look her into the eyes.

"We will tell them together, okay?" I say.

"Okay" she responds.

We get up and we put on our regular clothes. I stuff everything else into my locker and grab my purse. Right as I am about to leave, Noah walks in with Daniel.

"So are you two ready?" they ask.

I look and Ellis and respond,"Yes."

We continue walking out till we get to the cars.

"Me and Ellis were wondering if you guys would like to come over to our place so we could talk to you about something." I ask them.

"Of course, we will just follow you though." Noah says.

"Okay, see you guys there?" I say.

"Mhm" he responds, and then lets go of my hand.

We pull into the driveway of our house, them following close behind.

"So what did you want to talk to us about?" Daniel asks as we are sitting down on the couch.

"We had past relationships, as you probably did too" I start to say.

"Okay?" Noah questions.

"We had these guys, they were-" I try to say.
"They didn't did they?" Noah says, leaning down to my side.

All I can get is a nod, before I break down.

Noah's POV

I rush to her side and hug her as she breaks down.
I see Ellis and Daniel doing the same thing.

'How could someone do this to someone as good as these girls?' I think to myself.

"You just wanna spend sometime here?" I ask Piper.

She nods her head and I go up and sit next to her on the couch. She leans her head on my shoulder and I take her hand into mine.

"I will never let anything like that happen to you again" I whisper to her.

She squeezes my hand, and I close my eyes, holding her with my life.
