"This is going to be a good night" Ellis whispers into my ear.

I smile back to her, and think, maybe what she said is true.

Piper's POV

"That was really good" Ellis says as we walk out of the restaurant.

I nod my head, agreeing with her comment.

"Where to next?" I ask the boys, who are looking at each other smiling like crazy.

"You will see" Daniel says, smirking at Ellis, who is shaking her head.

They both open the car doors for us, and we start off to our next destination.

"You guys aren't gonna murder us or anything?" Ellis asks as we pull into the parking lot of a deserted park.

"No, at least your not gonna get killed by me" Noah responds.

That leads Daniel to let out a chuckle but then follows it up with a "no."

They open the doors back up for us, and we start walking towards the playground equipment with no one on it.

Ellis and Daniel starting running around like mad men all around the park. Me and Noah go over and sit down on the swings.

"This was my favorite thing to do when I was younger. Just come here and swing" I say, smiling at the memories popping into my head.

"I really didn't get to go to the park when I was younger, I had to take care of my mother." he says, looking down to the ground.

"What do you mean?" I ask, looking at him.

"She had terminal cancer, so I had to take care of my brother and her whenever they needed anything. I guess that's why I became a doctor, was to help people because I could never have helped her." he says.

"I am sorry" I say to him, looking into his eyes.

"It's no problem, I guess she had it coming. When my dad left she turned to the bottle and she never looked back." he says.

I don't know what to say to that so I just stay quiet.

"I really hope we can do this again" he says, looking up finally.

"Me too, it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be" I respond, smiling at him.

"They are crazy" he says, looking back up to Ellis and Daniel who keep going up and down the slides.
"Try living with it for your whole life" I say, with a little laugh at the end.

"Are you guys related?" he asks me.

"Well we are cousins but we act more like sisters" I say, smiling.

"Oh, do you have any siblings?" he asks me.

"Yeah, I have a brother named Carter and then my mom and dad, but they all work at the hospital too." I say.

"Wow, your parents produced all surgeons, and they are also surgeons, impressive." he smirks.
"Yeah, well most of my family are surgeons, so I just grew up with it and I knew it's what I wanted to do" I say.

"I love the feeling of helping someone. I think the real reason I became a surgeon was because I couldn't save my mom. Even though she was a pretty crappy mom, she was still my mom and it sucked seeing her wither away everyday." he says, looking back down to the ground.

"I am sorry" I say, again not knowing what to say.
"You have nothing to be sorry for" he says, looking at me again.

"I know, it just that sounds like it sucked, and I feel bad that you had to go through it." I say back.

"I mean I have my brother, we are really close since I was the one that practically raised him." he says.

"What does your brother do?" I ask him.

"He works in New York, he has a successful photography place down there." He responds.
"That's good" I say.

"Yeah it just kinda sucks not being able to see him, and when he does visit or I visit, it sucks because we know that one of is going to be leaving again." he mutters.

At that moment I take his hand into mine. He looks up to me and I can his blue eyes sparkling in the darkness.

"I am really glad you agreed to this" he says, getting up.

I get up too, our hands still intertwined. Just then we both lean in and our lips touch anothers.

After about 5 seconds we both stop and just look into each other's eyes.

"Me too" I say, smiling.
