"Okay ready?" I ask, making sure the chain is secure around my neck.

"Yes, let's go have a family dinner" she says.

Piper's POV

"You got the keys?" Ellis yells from across the apartment. "Yeah, lets go!" I yell. "Coming coming!" she yells back.

She comes running out, grabbing her bag. We both go out to the car, start it up, and drive to Meredith and Derek's house. 

After about 25 minutes we get to the house, to see cars up the driveway, and also some parked in the grass. "God we have a big family." Ellis says, making both of us chuckle. 

"Well, we grew up with it." I state, both of us smiling. We get to the front door, Ellis opening it, due to me having a dessert in my hands. 

"Hey guys!" Carter says, grabbing the dessert from my hands. "How are you tonight Carter?" Ellis asks him. "Good, how are you two ladies?" he asks.

"Great, great" I respond. "Everyone has been waiting here for you guys, of course being the last" he responds, smirking. 

"We aren't ALWAYS the last people to show up." Ellis smirks. "Yeah, okay whatever you guys say." he says, leading us to the kitchen.

Everyone is standing around the kitchen counter, laughing. "Oh look who finally showed up." Zola says, smiling. "Zo!" Ellis says, hugging her. "How are you doing?" Ellis asks. 

"Good, the kids are great too." Zola responds. "Thats good, they need to come with one time and visit their aunt Ellis." Ellis says, smiling. 

"Dinner is ready!" Lexie calls, making everyone grab a plate. After everyone grabs their dinner, we go and sit down at the kitchen table. "How was everyones day today?" Derek asks. "Good" Ellis and I say at the same time. 

Derek and my dad laugh at us, but then continue on eating. My phone rings, making me jump. I look at it and see the caller ID is Unknown. "I will be right back." I excuse myself, heading outside. 

I answer the phone, being met with nothing but silence. "Hello?" I ask.

"Hi Piper." the voice says, making me drop my phone, sending chills up my body.
