Sky of love

May 20 1956
Bianca’s gone about a month now, Gale and I were there before she closed her eyes and pass away. Bianca told me something at her last breath, “He’s always watching you.” I didn’t expect that those words would be the last word I would hear from her.
“He’s always watching you.”
Who? Who’s watching me? As I was sitting there purely reoccupied about what just happen, Gale sat beside me and he grab my hand and said, “She’ll always be there.” I can’t control my feelings anymore; I lean on Gale’s shoulder and start crying.
“Mary.” Gale said to me as his voice pass through y ears then to straight into my heart.
I want the time to freeze when Bianca’s still here, beside me, laughing with me.
Mary

As I read that entry of Mary, I can’t help to feel the sadness that she felt. Losing someone is a thing that I couldn’t bare myself. I know each one of us have our own time, but it’s just too soon for Bianca to leave.
As I turn to the next page, I saw a picture clip on it. I think its Bianca or Mary, but I think its Bianca. I took the picture and as I flipped it, I saw something written on it.
“To my best friend Mary. See you soon. 05.15.1956”
As the night went by and the moon light up my face, I can’t help to wonder why the old woman gave me this and told me that it was destined to be mine. I slept that night while the journal was wrapped around my arms.
The next day as I went to school I saw Nathan talking to Abby, I saw them looking at me as I enter the room.
“Good morning Sam.” Abby said as she went up to me with a gloomy face.
“Morning Abby.”
“Sam!” Nathan said as I turn my head to him.
“Why so glum?” He asked.
“Glum? Me? No, I’m not. I’m just sleepy.”
“Sam! I have to tell you something.” As Abby said and grab both of my hand and shove her face into mine.
“What is it?” I said as I look at her.
“I’m...”
“Your what Abby?”
“We’re moving away.” She said as I saw her head lowered and my eyes widened as I heard what she said. It’s like Mary losing Bianca but the case is different. No one’s dead but my heart just died.
“What?!” I shouted as I held her hand back. “Tell me you’re just joking!”
“Sam!”
“Abby, tell me please! I know every joke should have its punch line, but I can’t find the punch line here. So Abby! Tell me that you’re just joking!”
“Sam, I’m not.” She said as she grips my hand tightly.
“But Abby! You’re the only friend I got.” I said as my voice started the crack up and my tears begin to flow.
“Sam, you got Nathan now.”
“Abby.” As I look at her with my sad eyes.
“Don’t worry Sam, you’ll always be my best friend in the whole wide world.” She puts a smile on her face but I know she’s in a great pain too.
Our classes start and I wiped my tears away and sat down. I glance at Abby once in a while, I can see her sad face, and right across my table is Nathan, he looks at me but I just gave him an empty face.
“Sam.”
“Sam!” “Hey! Sam!” as Nathan shouted and I can see almost half of our class was looking at me.
“Sam! The teacher’s calling you.” Nathan said as he taps my shoulder.
“Oh! I’m sorry.” I said as I stood up and look at the teacher.
“Are you alright Sam?” as Mr. Patterson asked me.
“I’m alright sir, sorry if I’m not paying attention.” I said.
“That’s ok, take your sit.”
I sat down and tried to focus my attention to Mr. Patterson. As the bell rang, Abby, Nathan I was left and also Mr. Patterson, as we went out Mr. Patterson called me and said, “Sam! Come here.”
“What is it sir?” as I walk towards him.
“Do you have a minute? I’m just going to ask you something.”
“Yes sir.”
“Nathan, Abby, can you leave us for a moment.”
“Yes sir.” As Nathan replied.
As Abby and Nathan left the room, Mr. Patterson stood up and walks up to me.
“Sam, are you alright?”
“Kinda..” I said as I lower my head.
“I’ve heard the news. About Abby.” He said. I went silent for a while when Mr. Patterson told me something, “It’s Ok, people tend to leave but don’t worry they’ll be back before you know it.”
Mr. Patterson patted my shoulder and left.
