The Shop
“Good Morning Sam.” Nathan said that morning as we walk towards to school.
“What’s your plan for today?” I asked him as if I have plans myself.
“Nothing really, why?” he asked me as he prep his jacket because of the cold weather,
“Just asking.” I said and continued walking with my hands cross together.
“I thought you’ll ask me on a date.” He said and laughs.
“That’s impossible.” I said as I throw a gaze at him
“What about you?”
“I guess I’ll just lock myself in my room.”
“Wanna go somewhere after school, after all its Saturday tomorrow.”
“Are you asking me on a date?” I said as I give him a teasingly smile.
“Do you want too?” he smiled at me weirdly and my heart almost jumps off my chest when he went closer and said, “Just kidding, but I’ll be happy wasting my time with you, so my wasted time won’t be wasted.”
“What? I didn’t get that last part.” I said as I gave him a confused look.
“I said.” He leaned closer to my ear and whispered me something, “I’ll be happy spending my time with you.” I looked at him from the time he lift up his face and he looked into my eyes and gave me a sweet smile.
“What does that suppose to mean?” I asked him.
“It’s up to you.” He said and gave me another smile and walked ahead of me. I lowered my head and walk behind him, I can’t look at his eyes nor I can look at the whole him. I can feel my cheeks blushing and he suddenly stops ‘causing me to bump at his back.
He turned around and looked at me, “Hey? What’s the problem?”
I held my head where I was hit and I slowly look up to him and said, “Nothing.” And I lowered my head again and he sat on his feet and look up to me. “I can see you blushing.” He said and leaned his elbows on his knees and puts his both hands on his cheeks.
“No, I was just cold.” I immediately cover up and wrap my jacket around me.
“Oh, really?” He said and he still looks at me with those brown eyes.
“Come on, let’s go to school, we’ll be late.” I said as I reached out my hand to him.
“OK, if that’s what you want.” He said and as he grabbed my hand our face went closer to each other and I can almost breathe the same air he’s breathing. Finally he stood up and continued walking.
As we reached our rooms we sat down and wrapped our jackets as tight as we can. It is freaking cold outside this morning and it ‘causes us to shiver that day. As the class started I can’t helped to fall asleep because of the weather, I feel cozy and relaxed at the middle of our class and I can’t help to close my eyes.
“Sam.” I can hear a voice calling me, “Sam. Sam.” and suddenly I can feel somebody shaking me.
“Sam!” Nathan said as I can see his face so close to mine. “Hey! Wake up! It’s break time.”
Finally I woke up into my senses and said, “Did I sleep that long?”
“Kinda? I didn’t really notice you because I’m sleeping that time too.” He said as he laughs, “I just waked up when the bell rang, and I saw you across my table still sleeping.”
