Flowers and Rain
It’s been weeks since Nathan came back, and it’s been weeks since Nathan and I are a couple. I really can't describe the feeling circulating in my heart, each time our eyes meets, my heart just melts and my knees always shakes, for short whenever I see him my whole body just reacts.
“Hey!” Nathan said as he walks towards me.
“Good Morning.” I said as I give him a smile. “So? Where are we going?” he asked me last night to go out but he wouldn’t say where.
“You’ll know when we get there.”’ He said as he grabs my hand and we started walking, “By the way, does your parent know about us?”
“Well yes, they went Gaga last night when I told them. Mom just screams and jumps all over the living room, while dad just laugh at mom and his giving me weird smiles all night. But I’m happy ‘cause they’re cool about it.” I said.
“That’s cool; I bet they know that we’re going out today.”
“If you only see their faces.” I said as I roll my eyes.
“At least they support you.” He as he smiles at me
“By the way, where are we going?” I asked him as I survey around, and for the first time in my life here in Oklahoma, this is the first time that I walk this path. I bet I need to live a more.
“Just wait, ok?” he said.
“Ok.” I said back as I roll my eyes again.
“Did you just roll your eyes on me?” he asked as he stops.
“Yes, what’s the problem?” I said as I look into his eyes.
“Don’t you ever do that again?” He said and a silence went by, “Just kidding! Actually you really look cute when you do that.” He said as he poked the tip of my nose. For a moment there I felt a little touched of being scared, I don’t want Nathan to be mad at me, I just can’t stand the feeling that we’re not Ok.
“You scared me.” I said as I slowly put my hand on my chest.
“You look cute when you’re scared, why do you always look cute?” he asked me,
“I don’t know either, maybe...” I said but Nathan cut me off,
“Shhh…don’t say another word. I might believe in it.” he said as he put on his finger over my lips, it’s weird, Nathan pressing my lips. I feel uncomfortable, I feel something weird. “What’s with the shock face? Are you trying to seduce me?” he said as he laughs.
“N…No. I’m not, and why should I!” I said as I can feel the tense all over my body.
“Just guessing. Come on we’re almost there.” he said as we continues walking. After a several minutes we finally arrived. I read the sign and it said. ‘Welcome to blossom meadow’ I never been here before, is this new?
“Come on! Let’s go.” He said as he looks at me and wraps his arms around my shoulder.
As we went in and actually we are the only in there, I saw tons of flowers, of course there’s a lot of flowers here, it’s a flower field, but this is my first time here. This is my first time in seeing such sight. The flower sways; I can actually hear the rustling of the leaves, I feel very comfortable, as if I’m in a deep forest. Nathan and I went to a shaded tree and sat there for a moment. He put down his back pack and sat resting his back on the tree and I sitting next to him, while my knees are tuck up on my chest.
“Do you like it?” he asked as he looked towards the open field.
“I surely do, it’s beautiful here. It’s making me calm.” I said as I enjoy the scenery and the air that is passing through us. “How did you find such a place?”
