As Jax and Asura trained the Eevee twins for the day they to battle. They trained in a secluded area of Mt. Moon. Jax decided to tell the twins his secret so they were in the loop of it all. Jax trained them in a 2 on 1 battle with Asura as the judge making the battle even because the twins were undertrained compared to the rest of the team. Kurama comes out of her ball to train against Asura because he didn't see much battle action since viridian Forest. As the two battles continued the Eevee twins used tackle on Jax at the same time making Jax fly backwards into a wall. The twins quickly ran over to Jax who had been knocked back into his human form. He congratulated the twins on their teamwork. As Asura and Kurama finish up their battle Jax heals them all and puts them back into their PokeBalls and made his way through mt. Moon battling all the trainer's and team rocket grunts and was even able to get a helix fossil. After another few minutes Jax reached the exit and as soon as he got out of the cave and to a break letting everyone out to stretch and relax. Within minutes Jax sees that the sun is setting and he decides to set up camp. The Eevee twins run into Blake and get scared as he turns around. Jax sees this and waits to see what Blake will do. Jax then decides to have a special training match with him as an Eevee and his partner being Kurama vs. the twins. Kurama complains saying he won't fight the newbie's. Asura looks angrily at Kurama and walks over to talk with the twins quietly. After a few minutes Asura walks over to a tree and sits to watch the battle as it starts the twins use quick attack to hit Kurama back to back. Kurama pinpoints where the next one will be and uses flamethrower all the while Asura is laughing. Jax has Kurama use flamethrower on the grass where they bounce from to distract them and separate them. Kera noticing tries to get back into formation but is hit by a hidden power from Jax. Jessie uses a shadow ball out of nowhere hitting Kurama making him faint. A huge explosion goes off on mt. Moon making Jax stop the battle and put everyone in their PokeBalls after he transforms back. Soon both people and pokemon evacuate Mt. Moon. Once all the trainer's and pokemon reach cerulean city Asura and Kurama come out of their PokeBalls. Jax heals up Kurama and transforms into a Pidgeot having them both climb on his back and they fly up to where the smoke is. As they look around Jax sees craters from the explosions. As soon as they land they take a look around to see if anyone is trapped. Asura calls out to Jax and they see a Staryu unconscious on the ground. Jax catches the Staryu so he can take it to the pokemon center. As they continue to search Asura senses someone hiding and fires an aura sphere at the rock they were hiding behind. Jax runs very to where the aura sphere hit to help the guy as he sees a bag of moon stones fall on the ground. The man begins to wake up and tries to attack Jax but the Eevee twins come out of their PokeBalls and use quick attack simultaneously to knock the man back. Asura can only watch as she sees how far her daughter's have come since they first met in pewter city and feel proud of her self. Asura sees another person sneaking up to grab Jessie and Kera. She uses an aura sphere hitting the second person causing Jax to turn and see the second person. Both people wore black shirts with a red R on them showing they belong to team rocket. This causes Asura and Jessie to grow angry while Kera cleaned up the moon stones. Soon the grunts woke up and saw an angry Raikou growling at them. Out of nowhere a houndour ran in to protect the grunts only to be hit by Asura's force palm. Houndour faints. Jax tells Asura and Jessie to keep an eye on them while he and Kera go get officer Jenny. Asura nods as they fly off. As Jax returns with officer Jenny they see Asura and Jessie have them tied up with vines. Jenny arrests the grunts an houndour she thanks them for their help. They head back to their campsite Jax thinks why did those grunts need all of those moon stones. As Jax holds one of the moon stones it somehow burns him. The scorch marks stay as he has Asura put the moon stone back in the bag. The next morning Jax and his team head towards cerulean city.
