Asura and Jax head to the pokemon center to get info on the gym as well as the city. As they find out at the gym is rock-types and that is a 2 on 2 battle they head to the museum to check it out. When they walk up the see 3 guys wearing all black standing in as circle. Before Jax can even react an aura sphere comes flying past hitting one of the guys. Asura runs and hits the other 2 with a force palm. Jax runs to scold Asura he sees Asura holding a a small pokemon in her arms. Asura hands the pokemon to Jax but before he can react the pokemon taps one of the PokeBalls on his belt letting itself get captured. They run back to the pokemon center to get it medical attention. After hours of treatment the pokemon comes out and Jax sees it is an Eevee. Nurse joy says that if jax had saved it even one minute later the eevee could have lost it's life. Jax turns to Asura and tells her that she will be taking care of eevee since she saved it. Asura happily agrees as she holds it and tells Jax to give it a name. Jax says he can't until they know if it is a boy or a girl because it has not woken up yet. It was about an hour before it woke up. The eevee spoke softly saying thank you to Asura for saving her in an adorable girly voice. Jax looked at Asura who had a cocky smile on her face. Jax then asked if the eevee wanted to come along on his journey. Eevee asked if they could go over to the museum first so she can go do something. As they walked over to the museum the bush began to move as a shiny eevee walked out nuzzling Asura's eevee. The eevee talked and then asked if they could both come along to which Jax and Asura nod in agreement. Jax looks at Asura saying that she now has 2 daughters so there names will be Jessie for the eevee with the brown coat of fur and Kera for the shiny one. As Kera looked at Asura she ran to Jax scared as Jax reassured her that Asura would be her mother from now on. After a little while of the group talking Kera says that she was released by her trainer. Jax rolls a pokeball near her saying if she wants to come along she needs to be recaught first. Kera taps the button on the pokeball after a few minutes of thinking. As she is caught she comes back out with a bright smile on her face. Jax tells asura to take good care of the 2 eevee. Asura nods as she holds her 2 new daughters. Jax sends out Kurama and Blake to meet the 2 eevee. As they head toward the gym to challenge Brock Jax thinks of who he will use already choosing Asura as his first pokemon thinking he decided on Blake being the second Pokemon. When they go to open the door they see Ash run out holding pikachu. As they walk inthey see Brock healing his Pokemon. Jax sits on the challengers side of the battlefield
waiting for Brock to finish. As Brock finishes Jax stands up with an eevee on each side of him. Kax tells them to watch this battle carefully because they might have to battle soon. Brock starts by sending out geodude and Jax choosing to start with Blake who has fallen asleep. This causes Brock to laugh but Jax has a smile on his face. Brock tells geodude to finish the battle with a rollout. Blake dodges in his sleep and soon wakes up from the noise. Blake stands up and bows to the geodude confusing everyone. As the battle resumes Blake uses flamethrower which deals massive damage and even melts a nearby rock. Geodude still having a little fight left in it Blake uses metal claw to make it faint. Jax returns it to it's ball as Brock sends out Onix and Jax sends out Asura. Asura looks at the eevee giving the girls a thumbs up as they cheer for her to win. As the second battle starts Asura disappears and shoots an aura sphere at the back of the head of Onix. She then reappears in the same spot as she disappeared from. Onix tries to use bind but Asura jumps on top of Onix and finishes it off with a powerful force palm. Onix faints and Brock throws jax the boulder badge as well as the tm for rock tomb.
